The home has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen & living area, and a deck. Get close to nature, look for as far as the eye can see, watch the tide come in and go out, hear the rain and the wind, unwind in the sunlight, and take in an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way on a clear night.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. There is endless walking and climbing with Connemara National Park on the doorstep. The cottage is located along the Wild Atlantic Way within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches at Letterfrack and Renvyle. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available

Feel free to interact with our farm animals( horse , alpaca, sheep , goats) A direct bus to the city center is just 350m away. Not suitable for infants or the infirm.

The house is on the Wild Atlantic way and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the links golf courses in Lahinch (5km) and Doonbeg (25km).
