In the castle district

In the immediate vicinity of Schmieheim Castle, you can enjoy the tranquility and nature. In about 20 minutes you are at Europa-Park. Right outside the front door are a beautiful playground and large meadows. With a few steps you are in the forest or in the vineyards and can enjoy the view up to the Vosges Mountains from there. We have placed great importance on using only high-quality natural materials. You are surrounded by wood, clay and natural colors. An all-round healthy indoor climate.

We have a holiday apartment 14 km from Europapark Rust and 12 km from the motorway. The apartment can be booked for 2 to 6 people. Breakfast is included. For stays of 5 days or more, please enquire about the price. Europapark Rust + Rulantica Wasserpark 14 km / Freiburg 46 km/ Colmar 60 km /Strasbourg 42 km motorway 12 km away. There are some lovely routes to France, into the Vosges and the southern Black Forest. 30 km from Strasbourg. Border proximity to France 12 km; to Switzerland 90 km.

The in 2019 builted 538 sq ft apartment is located on top of the garage of our architect's house in a quiet residential area 11 km away from Europapark. It has a separate entrance and consists of a spacious room with box-spring double bed (2m x 2m), sofa and dining area with unobstructed views of the nature (biotope). There is also a separate fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Wi-Fi and TV available. Furthermore, there is a separate parking space.
