Enjoy the countryside with Dyck Castle at walking distance. There are several bike roads and walking paths, and the highway (A46) is only few minutes drive away. Two bakeries and a fruit shop are within 2 km. The barn has been fully renovated while keeping the 4 original brick walls. It is equipped with floor heating and offers a loft style space. The access is from the shared courtyard and in the back you can enjoy the garden. The covered gate area is ideal to park bicycles and motorbikes.

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

A terrace for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening awaits you. The picnic meadow in the shade of the trees is a place where children can romp around carefree. Our farm is rural and invites you to take walks along the Niers. We are therefore not easily accessible by public transport.

By car in about 15 to 25 minutes to Düsseldorf, about 30 minutes from Cologne Nevertheless, you do not have to give up relaxing nights, as we live very quietly. Euer home away from home befindet sich im Herzen Schiefbahns am Niederrhein. Schiefbahn hat eine eigene Autobahnausfahrt und ist somit ideal an Düsseldorf City, Flughafen und Messe (20 Minuten), Mönchengladbach (15 Minuten) und Krefeld (20 Minuten) angebunden. A workplace is set up, TV & Wi-Fi available. We try to welcome our guests personally to answer questions about the house and its surroundings directly. The A52 and A44 highways are 5 minutes away and the city center is 10 minutes away.
