Everything was great!

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

We felt very comfortable! The check-in was completely relaxed, Armin was immediately available and totally flexible and nice. Super cozy cabin, wood for fireplace was provided at no extra charge as well as the sauna. Everything was very idyllic and yet you were in Düsseldorf in 20 minutes by car, alternatively there is also a suburban train. A great recommendation!

Green, private, hiking, quiet, beautiful balcony, perfect for our dog! Had a really relaxing couple of nights away from the city.

We had a lovely stay at the witch's house. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need. For us, the low ceiling height was also no problem, as we are both not tall😊

We had a great time at the lovingly furnished Villa Kunterbunt. Kirsten is a great hostess. We were always able to reach them well and she had a very nice and open and uncomplicated manner. The house has everything you need and the surroundings are very quiet. We would always rent Villa Kunterbunt.

We stayed at Pia's chalet for a relaxing weekend and had a really great time. The house looks exactly the same as on the pictures, so it offers countless places to relax. The sauna & hot tub overlooking nature are also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a weekend to go hiking. It's very quiet and cosy.

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Staying with Barbara and Frank was really great. We felt very comfortable, had everything we needed and recovered well. Thank you for the hospitality. The apartment was really great. The garden is so well maintained and a great environment for walking and jogging.

Markus and Carina are really lovely, tolerant people, it just shines from them. We were made to feel part of the family instantly. When we contacted them they were very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, the kitchen is fully equipped as stated and was clean on entry, Nespresso machine was also really nice as we love our morning coffee. The surrounding area has beautiful walks and is very much like the Scottish Highlands, literally right outside the back door there is a lovely forest and hill walks, locals are friendly as you would expect living in such an idyllic hideaway. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk from the farms around the area. We really had a lovely time here and look forward to being able to return sometime soon.

We had two really nice days at Dominik's place. The house offers everything you need and is well equipped! A true luxury! Dominik's accommodating manner makes the stay completely relaxing. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to stay again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! We have made a stop here for the trip from the UK to Hamburg and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hosts are so warm, we felt welcome even before arrival. The hosts are very attentive and have thought about our needs in advance (toddler, dog) - we appreciate that very much and are not often found. We will be happy to come back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There were three of us here as a family with a dog and we felt very comfortable. The house is spacious and offers everything you need for a relaxing uncomplicated stay with a dog. There is not only an oven, which was not relevant for us. The garden creates privacy and the location is quiet and green, yet you are quickly in town, even on foot. The house is modernly decorated and offers everything for a week's stay. We will be happy to come back!

I was traveling for work and was able to feel at home in Susann's apartment. The highway can be reached quickly and you can always find a parking space at the house, the surroundings were great for extended gas laps in the afternoon. In the kitchen you have everything you need and especially the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. In search of peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cabin has on the one hand old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a delight to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.
