Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Allatoona

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Rivers Family Home! It was just like the photos . I loved sitting in the kitchen area with my coffee. The space was perfect for our small group and I slept really well. My friends and I would totally rent this home again because we had so much fun. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. They are awesome hosts and even contacted to see if anything else was needed before check in. Thank you to the Rivers Family😊

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

Josh was a very friendly, responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was beautiful and close to downtown Helen while still feeling like you’re out in nature. Also the place is huge so had more than enough room for everyone on our trip!

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

This place was suuuuper cute. Love the decor. but the location was spectacular, beautiful neighborhood and lots of stuff within walking distance. the aquarium tickets were a huge bonus and super fun!!

The place was exactly as pictured! Great location, lots to do around the area, some even walking distance. My only wish more full body mirrors, however, all amenities were in great condition, and lots of natural lighting in the place. Didn’t even really need to reach out, as all instructions were clear and useful. Perfect stay for my friends & I on my birthday weekend :)

I loved staying here!! The view from the balcony and my bedroom window was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. I loved that there were already water bottles and ice accommodated for us. I usually prefer self check-in but I will definitely reconsider because our host was super helpful and friendly, he was really great at explaining our check-in/check-out process. My sister and I loved our stay so much that we stayed an extra night! This stay felt very at home and has everything you could need. I will definitely be considering staying here again for my next visit to Atlanta and I highly recommend this place to you all as well!

My husband and I were in Atlanta for a concert and Eric’s place was perfect! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Eric was friendly and helped us with some breakfast recommendations. We’ll definitely stay there again!

My family had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cabin. The location is great, in the middle of lots to do - hiking, ropes course, zip lining, restaurants, Georgia Mountain Coaster, and an awesome Pokemon card store. The pictures do not do the views justice. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

Jill’s place was so relaxing and accommodating (with all the informational notes around the house), felt like home. My boyfriend, myself, our fur babies really enjoyed our little getaway stay! Jill was quick and responsive to any questions I had. My favorite spots of the house were the swing and the hot tub !! Thanks for opening your home 🏠 Hoping to be back soon

Great place to stay! Kristi was very responsive, and she helped us when we couldn't find the outdoor trash bins.

Great views from the moment of arrival just be very careful on local roads to cabin following the correct GPS route, recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle. The jacuzzi and upstairs porch are just magical with the sunset.

We booked a last minute stay for spring break. It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, with a little fun for all of us. We loved the creek running right outside the cabin next to the fire pit, made for an extra fun night next to the campfire! The cabin was exactly as described, spacious, clean, and had everything you needed for your stay. We would venture out to hiking trails during the day, then head back in to relax by the fire for the night. Cynthia had tons of suggestions and there was a binder on the table with local places, things to do etc. which made it very helpful.

Awesome place to stay, downtown Helen is a very short drive away, fishing and hikes even closer. Plenty of space, nice and clean. Perfect place for a nature lover with it the fire pit being right next to the creek. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Asheli and Cam’s place. The location is absolutely stunning and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. Our favorite spot was the fire pit on the river. We did have an issue with the gas fireplace not working, but they tried their best to resolve the situation during our stay. The listing does need to be updated with regard to the grills. We had hoped to use the gas grill pictured in the listing, but only the charcoal grill was available for use. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
