Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lanzarote

Lovely apartment/ home. Location is fantastic, a 10 minute stroll on the promenade to Rubicon Marina, which has lots of nice shops & restaurants, plus a nice clientele! (& not a fake designer handbag shop in sight!😁) 10 min drive to Playa Blanca. My only criticism is the pool has a plastic layer that is coming off, so there are pieces of it floating around in the pool all of the time, even after the 2 pool cleans we had. A suggestion is, for the money, is a mid week clean would be great. Comfy beds & stunning views! On the whole, great food & wine!

We lived our stay at Lara’s place. Beautiful very quiet place in the middle of nature, beautiful community areas even with pool. We were unlucky with the weather in the island, yet had an amazing time because the place was so great. The house is beautiful and very private. Amazing yoga room and pool area. Also the location in the middle of the island is ideal to visit. Lara and her mum were lovely and very responsive hosts, yet respecting privacy a lot. Very recommendable for a great vacation - we hope to come back 😀

I fell in love with the accommodation at first sight. We arrived before the check-in time, and Alex kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage at the accommodation. The house feels more like a private resort than a typical home. It is fully equipped and incredibly spacious. Alex was always responsive and came to clean the house every two days, which is not common practice for Airbnb. Truly the best Airbnb ever!

First time on the ‘west side’ of the Island as we thought there would be more sun in the evenings - which there was. However, this made the mornings slightly colder - not Jose’s fault at all. Apart from this we found the accommodation excellent with a nice pool. Clean linen delivered on the middle weekend - we stayed for 2 weeks - and could not fault anything. Tinajo is a nice area with supermarkets - although not enough for a ‘big shop’. Restaurants and bars also, although did not use. Highly recommended for a peaceful break.

What a beautiful villa - so much space, so gorgeously curated and a stunning garden. Can’t believe we got to stay here! Highly recommend. Conchi was also fab - very responsive and helpful, as was her housekeeper. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Highly recommend a stay at this lovely and spacious house with lots of outdoor space. The pool and outdoor shower was great, modern and designed feel to the property throughout. We were a family of four and we enjoyed our stay, with morning swim in the ocean only a couple of minutes walk down the road, all shops, bars and restaurants like ways, in close proximity. The neighbourhood was quiet, clean and felt safe. Finally, Mercedes and Maria were excellent hostesses, responsive, respectful and very helpful! Maria gave us the warmest welcome and was also there to see us well off. Thank you so much!

Beautiful apartment in a quiet setting and a few bars with food and supermarket within easy walking distance. We walked a great deal and used the bus to get round the island which is so reliable. Mariola was very accommodating and friendly. The beds are lovely and comfortable and linen beautiful.

So lovely, beautiful surroundings and easy to drive to beaches nearby. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed. The private terrace is great! Good mixture of accessible (by car only) and away from tourist areas. Jürgen was so friendly and accommodating and gave us recommendations for our stay. Thank you!

A beautiful apartment with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. A beautiful balcony and private rooftop terrace with a hot tub. Within walking distance of supermarkets and a harbour with a selection of good restaurants. Susanne met us at the apartment as agreed and checked in with us during our stay; she also helped us on our departure day when we had a taxi issue. Thank you, we really enjoyed our visit.

The house is even more beautiful and cozy than in the pictures, also very neat and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Communication with Nina was perfect and very friendly! The roof terrace has an impressive all-round view. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

The apartment was a real dream! Very well located. It was modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Especially the large terrace was a highlight – ideal to start the day with a breakfast. Attention: you share the property with the other AirBnb house, we thought at first that we were all alone, but now and then you can hear through the walls that other people are living right next door. The host was super helpful and provided us with great tips. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Lanzarote! The fireplace and garden and the personal letter were great!

It is away from all “touristy” places if your looking for a private peaceful break in the sun couldn’t recommend it more!

Thank you Alfonso for the warm welcome and the wonderful stay. We enjoyed a week Lanzarote, from this nice cottage we discovered the island by car. The cottage is neat and cozily furnished. Perfect for us with two young children. There was a camping bed ready and there were swings and a playhouse outside. Also as parents enjoyed the sun with a coffee next to the beautiful bougainvillea. A very pleasant base for explorers. Highly recommended!

We booked for a 5 night stay in March, just myself and husband. The villa is beautiful and obviously large enough for a bigger party. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and completely private, sitting in its own large grounds. The patio areas had numerous comfy chairs in different areas and plenty of sun loungers. We used the pool every day. In terms of location, for us it was perfect as we would rather have peace and quiet and privacy rather than being in the middle of a town. It was only a short drive to either Puerto del Carman one way or Puerto Calero the other. This was our first time in Lanzarote so there was plenty for us to explore. We visited all of the architect/artist Cesar Manrique’s locations and these, along with the villa, were the highlights of our holiday. As others have noted, the track leading to the villa is bumpy but nothing that our hire car couldn’t handle. Note that there is a road mirror when leaving the track and turning right.

What a find! This place has everything. The hosts have really thought about those extra details that make the stay incredible. A few things not mentioned in the description included a filtered drinking water tap, hot outside pool shower and outside heater which really added that extra level to our stay. Little touches like binoculars to enjoy the views, as well as all the facilities made the stay memorable. The views are absolutely incredible, and the starts at night are amazing! There is a restaurant you can walk up to, where the beers are 2.50 Euros a pint - great evening within stumbling distance. We hired a car which I would say is a must, so you can visit Playa Honda (Deiland Shopping centre and Restaurant Emmax is a must!) Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca have shops, beaches, restaurants on the seafront. Marina Rubicon is gorgeous and Puerto Calera - an upmarket marina with a Tues & Fri market is a good day out. We are definitely coming back! Hanna & Alan are awesome!

We had a fantastic stay in Cecile’s villa - it is amazing!! Such a great amount of space for our family of four. Three en-suite bathrooms, great living room and the views - well - the views are incredible!! Montana Baja is behind the villa and easy to walk up. Aqua lava is only a mile walk from the villa and Mirador del Rio up the other end of the island is only an hours drive away. Lidl is a 5min drive round the corner and Playa Flamingo an easy 25min walk. The pool and games room were both fantastic for the kids. Cecile was very helpful providing very clear instructions, and quickly responded to any queries we had. Will definitely return if we come back to Lanzarote!! Great base for our 10 day trip to explore the whole island. Would definitely recommend a car for ease of exploring.

We had a great stay! The house is exactly as shown in the description and photos – absolutely authentic and lovingly furnished. Upon arrival, we felt like we were on vacation. The great welcome package with fresh fruit, snacks, cold beer, water and wine was a super surprise and a perfect start to the holidays. Bruno was a fantastic host – friendly, helpful and explained everything around the house to us. The pool was also a highlight – clean, well maintained and just wonderful to relax. You immediately notice that everyone here takes great care of the house. The location is ideal if you are traveling by rental car and want to explore the island individually. If you don't feel like large hotel complexes and prefer to live a bit away, this is the place to be. We will be happy to come back!

This was our second stay at Holger’s, the first being one week in November 2024 and our second being for 4 weeks Feb/March 2025. The villa is very well kept and equipped, has all the comforts for a long term stay, and neighbours Michaela and Pablo are on hand to help with any problems that may arise. Michaela will ensure you arrive to an immaculately clean holiday home. Being of modern design the villa is light and airy, as well as being well positioned to visit the whole island. We very much enjoyed our holiday and were happy with our choice to stay at Holger’s villa.

Our third year in Casa Tara speaks for itself :) We love the beautiful house for its size & amenities, the walk to the city with everything you need to live for a longer time – gym, great restaurants, the hiking route to Puerto Calero – the list is long. Mara and everyone associated with the house are so nice and always available – you couldn't ask for better conditions for a workation. We will be back ;) Thanks Mara and team for such a good time!

We had a perfect few days at Castillo Lanzarote at the end of our holiday. It’s is a very special and magical environment.
