Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Welcome to the Black Forest! This beautiful architect´s house is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by idyllic vineyards and some of the most beautiful paths for hiking or mountain biking start directly in front of the door. The house has a big garden with a magnificent old stock of trees and a little creek. As this house was renovated looking after the design and the details and also with some technical refinements, i am looking forward to welcome you into this cozy home.

In the middle of the vineyards

In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

Our apartment (40 square meters) is located in our new building with a separate entrance and offers everything you need for a few relaxing days. Shopping of any kind is within walking distance. The adjacent meadows and forests invite you to take small and large walks. The old barn was renovated in early 2018 with tradition and modernity. An ideal stopover for a tourist stay in Alsace. Two comfortable bedrooms and a sofa bed allow us to accommodate up to 6 people. To relax, a sauna and the family pool are at your disposal. Osthoffen is a wine village located on the outskirts of Strasbourg. 15 minutes is enough to get to the city center or the airport. For about 200 years, the train station has been a place for travelers and vacationers. Today you can live in it. Whether with friends or in a small family group. Behind the railway line (5-minute walk) you will find a small stream, fields, forest and meadows. Excursions to the Black Forest, Northern Alsace, Europa-Park or the Europabad are easily accessible from the property.
