If its sightseeing then we have Loughcrew Cairns and Fore abbey on our doorstep. But if its fishing your interested in then check out Lough Lene and Lough Bane, or one of the many other lakes around us.

The Cosy Cabin - East Ferry - Cork

Modern corrugated cabin, with epic views over the water. Jumping in the car you're within 10mins of both Ballymaloe House, Cookery school and garden. Located 7mins from the foodie town of Midleton where CUSH is perfect for dining. Inch beach is 15mins away for swimming and sauna barrel. Cork city, with all it has to offer, is a 20minute drive. No wifi in the cabin but mobile phone reception is great, unless you’re Voda phone but a short stroll along the lane will pick up voda phone.

An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).

The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. I'm proud to say my home was featured in Bad Sisters Season two (Grace's house) on Apple TV. It's a Coastal haven, sleeps two/ suitable for couple or single guest . Situated on its own beach, fall asleep to the song of the sea waves.
