The main rental is set up for four with two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with 1.5 baths. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom may be added upon request for additional fee to accommodate up to 6 people. The owner lives in the main house and enjoys sharing her collections with guests.

Built for $500.00 dollars "back-in-the-day," the Earlehurst Cottage was inhabited by The Carters, a humble, cute old country couple. Here, they raised two daughters. Today, the house is tastefully appointed where expected - & comfortable to modern standards - yet, it has been left as charming, rustic & cozy as it had always been: with elements of the original decor, windows, plaster walls, etc., being preserved. Pets stay for free!

This is Cookie Top Mountain Chalet. We wanted to create a place where not only families, but also their fur babies could enjoy, although we do have a 2 dog maximum. To experience the elegance of the majestic views from our cabin, please plan for travel over a brief period of gravel roads. We recommend an SUV or front wheel drive capable vehicle.
