The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

The estate is dedicated to the training of dressage horses and extends over 12 ha at the gates of the city of Saumur and a stone's throw from the Cadre Noir and the Saumur golf course. Ideal for a rest in the heart of nature and so close to all amenities. The studios are fully equipped for two people and located facing south. Enjoy the terrace, but also the view of the oak grove in front of your accommodation.

You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!

The gîte has a fitted and very well-equipped kitchen but also an outdoor courtyard with terrace (barbecue, garden furniture). My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.
