Based in Azumino and Ikeda Town in autumn, embark on a journey to see the stunning views of the Northern Alps and autumn foliage. In Shinshu, from September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages. You can enjoy autumn scenery unique to each location, including the Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, visit mountains and plateaus with autumn foliage. When I get back, I'll relax in the sauna and the cold water bath. Please enjoy a quiet time in the countryside at night, with BBQs and the starry sky. As it is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples and small groups. A convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe.There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for extended periods. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange car rental, so please consult with us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn foliage and the tranquillity of Shinshu. It is also recommended for a leisurely trip where you stay for consecutive nights and slowly tour Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Adonino, each of which has a different autumnal appearance.

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You will have full access to a comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, a natural garden that creates seasonal views, and a forest with a stream.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoon dogs, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
