Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You will have full access to a comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, a natural garden that creates seasonal views, and a forest with a stream.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoon dogs, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We have also paid special attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy 'living'. At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. It is a calm space with a traditional Japanese house motif.The living room features a large kotatsu-style sunken hearth, perfect for enjoying meals and drinks.There is also a counter bar with four seats. With Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Resort and Togari Onsen Ski Resort all nearby, it is the ideal base for winter sports.There are eight golf courses that can be reached in about 30 minutes, including Madarao Country Club, which is a 5-minute drive away during the green season, and there are also many day-use hot spring facilities.The owner lives on the right-hand side after you go up the steps to the front door and can be contacted at any time. They can understand everyday English.During the green season, you can harvest fresh vegetables from our own farm at any time, and you can also enjoy a barbecue in the gazebo in the garden.The garden is also spacious, so you can enjoy a short walk or something similar.Iiyama's specialty product is the famous green asparagus, which can be enjoyed from May to July. There is also a roadside station nearby where you can enjoy fresh vegetables and delicious soba noodles.

[Open July 2023] Crohimekaitaku is a luxurious house overlooking the beautiful scenery woven by Mt. Kurohime. Enjoy a blissful moment surrounded by nature in a comfortable silence. It is located about a 10-minute drive from Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, with excellent access by car. As a base for sightseeing in all seasons! 15-20 minutes by car to Togakushi, Iinuma, Kurohime, Madarao, and Myoko. In an area with famous powder snow ski resorts, you can easily enjoy winter sports in the winter. Well maintained! The private sauna is equipped with a Finnish wood-burning sauna stove. You can also enjoy a self-lowering bath. Enjoy a luxurious sauna time and forest bathing in a water bath with a magnificent view of Mt. Kurohime. You can enjoy the comfort of warmth and refreshment at the same time. It has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. We also have a bathroom, toilet, air conditioner, washing machine, and dryer, so you can stay with peace of mind even for consecutive nights. For winter heating, there is a pellet stove, so please relax and enjoy.

There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. The accommodation fee is 6,500 yen (due to rising prices, the price will be raised) We do not accept last-minute reservations (please book at least 3 days in advance)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
