Demberg vacation home

The village of "Demberg," which is characterized by agriculture and forestry, is a district of Wies and belongs to the municipality of Kleines Wiesental. My renovated farmhouse is located at an altitude of 600 meters in a high valley of the southwestern Black Forest. On the ground floor, I offer an apartment of about 55 square meters. The upper floor is also rented out. Noise possible. In the village shop 1 km away, you can stock up on local products but also on the necessary things.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Historic Cramm Mill, Barn Apt. 5

Our apartment 5 is on the upper floor of the historic barn of our listed watermill, which has existed since 1754. It is one of six studios that we built as part of a renovation and have been renting out since May 2024. We have taken care to preserve as much of the historical character of the building as possible - the original wooden beams of the old barn adorn the apartment and the view of the open roof beams. The apartment is 43 square meters.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

The apartment, renovated in 2023, was formerly an old bakery and is located on a 16th century farmstead. century in the core village of Efringen-Kirchen. After decades of neglect, it has been given a new shine piece by piece in recent years with loving attention to detail. We want to offer vacationers, business travelers and travelers looking for a last stop before or after the Swiss border an uncomplicated and pleasant stay.

Beautiful fully furnished attic apartment (80 m²) with balcony and large roof terrace with views of the forests. In the kitchen, the basic equipment such as spices (vinegar, oil, salt, pepper...), dish towels, detergent and various cleaning agents are available. A Senseo coffee maker and a Sodastream (for making sparkling water), are available. In the converted attic there is a hammock and a chaise longue to relax.
