It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

Quiet in the countryside, sheep, chickens, no nuisances. In the town, a body of water with supervised swimming area (summer) and the lakes of Haute-Charente a few km away. Hiking trail from the house. About 50 km from Angoulême and Limoges.
