Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mareuil en Périgord

We stayed with our 2-year-old son at Patricia's for 5 days. The animals and the whole property with pool were ideal for the family. It was nice, quiet and the animals very (especially the dog) very tame. Patricia herself is an exceptional person, extremely hospitable and helpful. She even drove me to the pharmacy in the next town to pick up my medication. Thanks very much again!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very nice stay at this very cozy little house. The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating. The view is nice and the place is very quiet.

The house is very nice, very well-equipped. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. Nearby tours and hikes are available. Rebecca was always responsive to our questions.

Thomas is a warm, generous and attentive host to the well-being of his tenants. His house is in his image, we immediately felt very comfortable there, children and adults alike. We had a pleasant stay in a beautiful rejuvenating environment, and luckily a bright sun offered us beautiful sunset lights.

A perfect stay at Jérôme's. The view is beautiful, the cottage is very beautiful and very well equipped. The rooms are very spacious and very well decorated. The children took advantage of the heated swimming pool. The spa area is a real plus and very nice. We loved our stay. We'll be there again.

Dear Laurence, Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home and garden. For us, it was wonderfully grounding days in the midst of fantastic nature... Yoga and meditation on the wooden terrace overlooking the sun, the cows and the fields, splashing in the pool, cycling to Lac Plaisance and morning swimming, the diving tower and the slide for the boys, barbecuing in the garden, small charming villages, more relaxation is not possible in such a short time. In the evening, the sunset in the garden, cuddling on the sofa with a view or in front of the cozy fire in the fireplace.... The kids couldn't wait to get home from a vacation to sleep at Claude's! Very friendly and welcoming host. A real farm stay with its animals in a beautiful and very peaceful environment. Despite our late hour on Saturday night, we were able to enjoy Sunday morning to everyone's delight. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great time at this studio in Angouleme. The host was very responsive and flexible for check-in, which made the organization very simple and enjoyable. The place is perfectly accessible, well located, and corresponded in every way to the listing, without any unpleasant surprises. You will probably appreciate the little touches (water in bottles, coffee/tea, beers) when you arrive, a real plus that makes the difference. I recommend it without hesitating!

Very atmospheric old Manor House .Beautifully decorated to a very high standard . The town is lovely with some good restaurants.We loved it here ,a short stroll to the river was delightful.The Saturday market was a gourmets heaven. Tegan is a great host who provides a communal breakfast fit for royalty .

I spent a week with my friend at Marc's in one of his cottages, we were hosted very well and he offered us a welcome drink and introduced us to his estate! There are many amenities available such as a large swimming pool, gym, bike loan....... It's really a quiet and exotic place near his pond where my friend was proud to fish a carp with Marc. Thank you!!!!!☺ Marc is a superhost and a good cook where we were able to enjoy a pizza from his restaurant!!! Really great place and very attentive to guests!!! See you soon, maybe!😉 Julie & Addah

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

The cottage was very quiet and invites you to relax with a beautiful garden and beautiful SPA FACILITIES. The house has everything you need and the attention to detail made us feel very comfortable right away. Luisa was very friendly and helpful. We immediately got along very well with her. She also provided us with very valuable tips for our holiday. In summary, we felt very comfortable and spent our vacation in a very well-equipped holiday home and enjoyed the hot tub, as well as the sauna. There was nothing missing. Even in the event of a failure of the internet due to an accident, Luisa promptly provided replacement. We will be safe again! Thank you for everything Luisa!

We needed calm, to recharge as a couple, to disconnect and the goal is reached very handily. A beautiful place in nature with all the necessities. Ideal for couples or children from 6 years old. the "loft" having some "risk" areas for a child in the process of walking or under 5 years old. Bedding with remarkable comfort. I was apprehensive because no shutters or blackout curtains are sensitive to the brightness for sleeping. Well I managed to sleep until after 8am every day and no alarm clock because of the daylight. Quiet, beautiful colors, birdsong. We had a time out of time. Location quite correct. 15min to reach an intermarket hypermarket, 20min from the Gouffre de Proumayssac, 40min from Lascaux, La Roque gageac, Domme, Sarlat. A place we'll keep for our pleasure.

Charlotte and her husband were present but discreet, the perfect balance. The space is independent and you can spend a nice evening in the Nordic bath after tasting their beautiful meal basket:)

We had a pleasant stay with the family at the farm. The setting is ideal for relaxing, surrounded by animals , with the swimming pool and private jacuzzi we enjoyed. A big thank you to the owner for the delicate attention with the scented candle and the good fresh eggs.

Thank you for the idyllic stay in this little corner of nature. We had a great time despite changing weather. This cabin in the woods is exactly what was described to us and that we were looking for. We even met the doe! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and well appointed. Accurate to photos. The bottle of wine, a check-in gift, was delicious. We found the pleasure of the 33 towers. The cabin is well located in the Dordogne which allowed us to make lots of visits to castles, caves, villages. I highly recommend this cabin in the woods! We'll be happy to go back!!!
