Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Matten bei Interlaken

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

We loved Villa Celeste. It was exactly as pictured and the location was easy to access Old Town by bus. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood and we were glad it was away from hectic tourist areas, but close enough that it wasn’t a hassle to get there.

Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We had the most wonderful stay here. We always like being just out of the city centre so this was perfect. Tram stops are just a short walk away was super convenient. Grocery store was closeby and free parking was also very much appreciated. Martina left a booklet of house instructions and recommendations for us which was super helpful and covered everything we could imagine. The amenities were terrific. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Schöne & gemütliche Unterkunft. Bequeme Betten. Top ausgestattet (sogar Tischgrill & Fonduegeschirr vorhanden). Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Gondel in unmittelbarer Nähe. Thermalbad (Hotel Nendaz) ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Heinz antwortet schnell auf Fragen & ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt - Vielen Dank!

Logement impeccable avec tout le nécessaire. Facile à trouver grâce aux instructions détaillées fournies. Parking facile. La vue et le cadre sont absolument magnifiques ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Val de Charmey :)

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und hätte nicht schönen sein können! Top Lage mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief perfekt. Wir können die Wohnung definitiv weiterempfehlen und werden wieder kommen.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Patrizia war hervorragend. Besonders die Kommunikation, die aufgeräumte tadellose Wohnung sowie die beiden grossen und gemütliche Balkone waren super. Die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Kaffee Maschine, entspricht vielleicht nicht mehr den heutigen Bedürfnissen. ich war jedoch erstaunt wie gut der Kaffee mündete und dies ohne Kapseln. gerne wieder in der Wohnung von Patrizia .

Appartamento nuovo , ben arredato e organizzato e pulitissimo sembrava di essere a casa propria. Il paese è piccolissimo, ma fuori casa c'è un negozio con tutto il necessario. Un ringraziamento ai proprietari che abitano di fronte e sono molto disponibili. Bellissima vacanza
