Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Metropolitan City of Palermo

We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

Lovely homely feel to this house with direct access to a stunning golden beach. Everything you need for a super laid back beach holiday with the amazing flower terrace overlooking the sea our personal favorite. Some very good restaurants nearby but we just loved to have a drink, light up the bbq again and just enjoy the spectacular sun sets!

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't miss anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. Thank you, Gabriella, for this unforgettable, wonderful holiday! Grazie mille ♡♡♡

Staying at the villa of Roberto was an amazing experience. We were able to use the bbq and the pizza oven to get the real Sicilian feeling. Roberto was very warm and welcome and always available to anwer our questions. Thanks Roberto!

The accommodation was perfect. Spacious, clean and quiet. The host was very responsive. Nothing negative to report.

very nice stay. we had a wonderful time. especially the terrace the view of the sea is great. 2 minuses: - very remote so little to do - small bathroom further, definitely recommended!

A great place to stay! Davide was very communicative with instructions and met us in person to show us around the home and provide recommendations. The unit is on the first floor so you can take stairs or there is an elevator if needed. We were here for a little over a week, working remotely (fast Wi-Fi), and taking day trips to Cefalù, Agrigento, Monreale, and more. The location is fantastic - a short walk away from the tourist highlights and great restaurants. And there are close bus stops that drop you off at the train station. There is also a huge grocery store about 5 min walk away. The amenities were useful - everything in the kitchen is functional, and the washer was great as well. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend to others.

Very nice apartment near the sites in Palermo. Sabrina was very responsive and available for us. Located on a quiet street so we felt safe at night. Everything was very acceptable. Two full bathrooms is rare for most AirBnB's so we certainly enjoyed this feature. Plenty of heating during winter months. There is room for improvement: hot water availability was not always up to par during showers, would need more seating in the living room if we went back with friends. Would we like to go back to this property in the future: yes.

Vincenzo's place has a good location just out of the centre of Palermo. It is clean, well furnished and has everything you will need for an extended stay. I was there for a month and found that I had everything that I needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the internet is fast and reliable. Although the apartment is small, the space is very well utilized. A great option for a comfortable stay in Palermo.

What a glorious place to stay in Palermo. A short walk to Quattro Canti and just about everything else you may want to do in Palermo: great markets and food stores, opera and symphony, dining, buses to outlying areas, churches, etc. The two floor unit, with two separate patios, is exquisite. The kitchen is professional for cooks. The interior construction and amenities are top-notch. As for the host, she’s an exceptional person: warm, accommodating, so interested in knowing everything is OK. Five stars in every category.

Quiet place, located in a good spot, close to everything you need. Marina has been very friendly and responsive.

Very comfortable apartment for 3 week stay. Very quiet bedroom with comfortable King bed in an authentic local area but still in the heart of Palermo. Guils was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We had a very relaxing week at Leanne’s. Giuseppe met us when we arrived and told us about the apt and keys, and left us with some excellent ideas for restaurants. The street was extremely busy, but the apt very quiet. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, everything worked, it was very central, and a pleasant place to stay. What few questions we had, Leanne answered quickly. We cooked several meals in the kitchen. We used the elevator for our luggage, but otherwise used the grand stone staircase to the top- a good workout, and aesthetically pleasing. It was too cold to sit and eat on the pretty little terrace, but nice to be able to step out to check the weather before going downstairs. A lovely week in a nice apartment. We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

It was a real pleasure to stay with Simona, the apartment is in a strategic position, all within walking distance, an area full of shops, bars and restaurants for all tastes. The house is equipped with everything, clean and comfortable, there were 8 of us and everyone had their own space at their disposal. I definitely recommend this place, Simona and her dad are two delicious people, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Fabrizio’s apartment! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Palermo, so we could reach every major spot on foot. The apartment itself was super cozy, comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a smooth stay and even more. Fabrizio was an outstanding host—super helpful and thoughtful. He even provided QR codes throughout the apartment with all the essential info, from how to use the coffee machine to the best local restaurants and bars. It made our stay effortless and enjoyable! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo. We’d definitely stay here again!

The location was in the city center, the only downside was finding parking but that is not unique to this Airbnb! The rooms were spacious!

Angelo is a fantastic host, very kind, friendly and helpful. The apartment is very good located, close to the Train/bus stadion and not far from the Quattro Canti. The beds are really comfortable. In the winter months heating by air conditioner is available. We have wonderfull time in Palermo. Highly recommend.
