Island holiday rentals in Mexico

We went with our family, kids and grandkids. We were close to town and another neighborhood. The grounds were so beautiful. The birds plentiful, and the house and Casita were wonderful for our family. We enjoyed the pool

We had a fantastic stay. Sabine was incredibly helpful and we were able to check in early. Sabine lives downstairs and also runs the Cafe del Mar which is 30 seconds walk away on the beach. The food here was delicious and the staff very friendly. The noise from the road was sometimes loud, however this is typical for Isla Holbox. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay, highly recommend!

Exactly what we wanted for our stay, it is as described by the owner in the house description. House is very rural run on solar and gas off grid, would recommend having transportation of your own as it’s difficult for taxis to get to and from because of cell service going in and out. You open the doors to the pristine blue waters steps away from the house with your own private beach. Grab your snacks and food before arriving it make it easier having everything when you get there rather than going back out to the city which is about 30-40 mins from the stay. Super good restaurant that is always open at Ikarus, only a 10 mins walk down the road! (we enjoyed breakfast lunch and dinner) Deni was a great help, he stays on the property but in his own home, making sure you have no issues during your stay and is always ready to help. Fairly safe area we left our doors open at night for the ocean breeze and had no issues.
