Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Middelburg

We (group of 5 ladies) loved our stay at Roxanne's place. She pampered us with her cooking skills and extensive breakfast. It was wonderful to have nothing to do, the table was set and tidied up. Wonderful beds (even a bedstee), where we slept fantastically, where the birds and the walking ducks woke us in the morning. All in all, highly recommended!

Ann was amazing! The hospitality was beyond comparising and she made our weekend at Brugge so nice! With great tips on things to do to the nice room. It was all more than great, and I had an amazing time! Walking to the centre took 15 minutes or so, but that was perfectly fine for us. Made the house a nice place to come back to, because it was more quiet than the city centre. All with all amazing.

We had a great stay in Leen's place. The room is nice but it was the hosting and the breakfast that was really above and beyond. I would be very happy to stay again.

what a nice place! can take beautiful walks both around the estate and in the area. The breakfast was for pure pampering and the tea garden with delicious freshly ground pastries was a nice icing on the cake! We enjoyed

Had a lovely time at Ruth’s. Both Ruth and her Partner made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was Fantastic and gave us a great start to the day. Our room was right near the main entrance, which made it easier to not disturb anyone. The room was clean and well furnished and met all expectations. We Sadly had to cut our holiday short by 1 day. Only due to Little one being hard work. Ruth kindly did supply a cot bed for our little one to sleep in which was very kind and helpful. But I would recommend to not take a child of a young age to Ghent. Nearly all the roads are cobbles which does test your patience with a pram. There is lots to do near by within a 15 minute walk in most directions.. Big thank you to them both.

Clean spacious rooms, in a decent location about 25 mins walk from the city centre. Quiet neighbourhood

We had a great weekend! The bathrooms were very clean at all times although everything was occupied. The breakfast basket is very lovingly curated and the perfect start to the day. We will definitely be back :)

Enthusiastic about the accommodation as well as the perfect location for a short weekend trip in Holland by the sea. The hosts were very friendly, went out of their way to respond to individual requests and were always available to us. The room is as shown on the pictures and everything is very lovingly furnished.

Great accommodation. Everything was neat. Great bed. The room was a bit on the small side so there were no chairs to sit on. The breakfast was excellent. A small bathroom and a shower with shower curtain. However, everything was new and tidy. Beautiful small garden with lots of privacy, where you can sit in nice weather.

It was a lovely time at this place. This was just like the photos, very cozy and extremely clean… the contact was very pleasant, check-in easy, the hostess responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful. There is a lounge downstairs that all guests can use, the specified parking space was easy to reach and there were always parking spaces. In any case, a perfect place to stay for a few days off! This was the most wonderful and satisfying experience I've had since using airbnb, so I would like to thank Nathalie, the host here for such a high quality and comfortable service.How should we describe this fantastic place to stay?I think it would be nice to talk about it's location.Indeed, it is not located in the city center of Old Bruges, and, it can be said that it is on the edge of the old city, however, for tourists it is not remote, it is only 600 meters to the most central bazaar square, the street from the doorstep is all the way there, without a turn.Going in the opposite direction of the city center, less than 100 meters is the green park that surrounds the old town and is a great place for an early morning and evening walk.The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the train station, if it is not convenient to walk with luggage, the free shuttle bus three times an hour is one stop away and the station is only 70 meters from the door of the apartment.Speaking of the apartment itself, it is really a very unique place, it is trinity - the first floor shop (behind the restaurant and kitchen), the master room on the second floor (shower room and toilet, outside is the terrace), the guest room on the third floor.Hostess Nathalie is a text craft artist, the house is her studio, the shop on the first floor is all her handmade crafts, she lives on the second floor and transforms the loft on the third floor into a guest room to host tourists from all over the world.Nathalie has spent a lot of thought and labor in the decoration and decoration of the house, the studio and shop don't have to say, from the overall style and color selection and harmony, the selection of the countertop of the kitchen table, the selection of utensils, to the painting and firing of the ceramic tile patterns next to the washbasin, and to the guest room her mother's hand sewn lace sheets, not only to experience her style and taste, but also to see how much she loves life.She takes a love of life and the city of Bruges, and also paints carefully in tourist guides to guests, from attractions to restaurants, from shopping streets to specialty shops, from Belgian fries and waffles to chocolate shops, Lin Lin's general, meticulous and thoughtful.After each guest has read this information, I believe he will immediately become a tourist expert in Bruges.Finally, it's time to talk about the hostess, Nathalie herself, what an elegant, intelligent, diligent, enthusiastic, easy to reach woman.Breakfast time each day is our most anticipated and enjoyable time.Nathalie personally cooked us a breakfast of local specialties every day, though not as abundant as the hotel's English or Continental breakfast, however, we enjoyed her dedication even more, as well as her free conversation.The content of our conversation goes from south to north, but our core values are surprisingly consistent - love, openness, inclusion and understanding of life.When I say goodbye, I sincerely say to Nathalie that she is welcome to travel to China, although I may not be able to do her half, however, I am willing to help her as much as I can.Lastly, I would like to say a second, thank you Nathalie, for the warm colors and memories of our journey.

A fantastic find here. Wonderful stay for 6 nights , we enjoyed everything about this property. Big plus was the spacious shower! Extremely comfortable beds with brilliant views of the countryside. Delicious breakfast every morning too. If you are considering this for your next holiday, do not hesitate, just book. Anne was so helpful and friendly, it was a real pleasure to stay here and we can't wait to return.

Wonderfully quiet place overlooking the green garden. Beautiful, sparkling colorful room with a very large double bed. Warm reception and especially a delicious breakfast. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful break in Bruges and have combined sightseeing with wellness. The space was clean and newly furnished. Everything worked smoothly and also the contact was friendly.
