This is an old house located in Aoki Village, Shinshu, at the foot of Mt. Fujin. The entire house can accommodate up to 12 people. For 2 people on a weekday, it starts from 10,000 yen. (This varies depending on the season.) The pricing is very reasonable, with an additional 4,000 yen for each additional person. (Children under 3 years old stay for free. Children under 3 years old must sleep with an adult. In 2017, it was named the best village to live in in the whole country. The entire house is rented out, so it is used by families and groups. I am a Superhost. You can use it like a cottage. Since it is a private rental, you can relax without any interference from other guests. 　The guest rooms are two large adjoining rooms, one 10 tatami mats and the other 12 tatami mats. There is also a 6 tatami mat room with a toilet. Fully equipped with a living room and kitchen. The toilet and bath are shared by men and women. Pets are not allowed. [BBQ area] 　You can have a BBQ in the covered space of the old house. 　※ Please bring your own food, paper plates and paper cups. ■ BBQ area usage fee: 3,500 yen (includes stove, charcoal, net, and tongs) If you bring a complete set of BBQ equipment, the BBQ area usage fee is 1,500 yen 　 ※ BBQs such as yakiniku are prohibited inside the building.

25 minutes by car from JR Nagano Station. Located in the Iizuna Kogen area of Myoko Togakushi National Park at an altitude of 1,100 meters, Log House "Wa" is surrounded by nature, where you can enjoy the four seasons and relax. It is also a refreshing and cool place in summer. You can enjoy Togakushi Shrine, Zenkoji Temple, soba making experience, forest adventures, etc. with your family. For business people, it is also a place where you can concentrate efficiently from a quiet space in nature. From spring to autumn, you can enjoy cycling and climbing Mt. Iizuna on a rental electric bicycle. During the autumn foliage season, we also recommend the Togakushi area and Myoko Highlands. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
