It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about 15 minutes by car. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. You can also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomitai Trail, and Mt. Iinago. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, it's about a 15-minute drive to Tengu-no-Yado at Lake Reisenji. Nozawa Onsen Ski Area, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Area, and Tohachi Onsen Ski Area are all nearby, making it the perfect base for winter sports. In the green season, there are eight golf courses within an hour, including the Madarao Country Club, and many day-use hot spring facilities. The owner lives on the right side of the entrance and can be contacted at any time, and understands everyday conversational English.
