With summer in Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Northern Alps. You can enjoy mountain sightseeing unique to this season, such as Kamikochi, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and Hakuba Happo Pond. From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can also enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. During the day, you can go to the mountains and plateaus, and at night, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. This is a private cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. It is recommended not only for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. A convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe. We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably for multiple nights. You can get here by public transport, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round-trip fare) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way range. The cottage has an atrium tatami mat living room for families and friends to gather. The three bedrooms are clean and warm, and all rooms are relaxing. There is a Japanese-style room on the ground floor and a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 large and 1 small, on the second floor. During the snow season, it is in a great location just a 5-minute walk to the 6th lift of the Tangram Ski Circus, with excellent access to the ski slopes. Famous ski resorts such as Myoko area ski resorts, Nozawa Onsen, and Roketa Alpine Resort are also 30-40 minutes away by car. It is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy winter activities. In the green season, you can enjoy water activities such as kayaking, SUP, and fishing at Lake Nojiri, which is a 5-minute drive away. Enjoy the great outdoors of Shinano-cho.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
