Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Oak Island

Very beautiful and comfortable home, would be an awesome retreat when you just want to relax or be near the beach. We really just enjoyed our family time here. Will look forward to coming again. Also not sure if but some pictures I guess are to another listing there's no playground out back.

My family and I had a nice weekend getaway at the property. It was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the bathrooms especially. The backyard area was very spacious and nice as well. I can imagine how much more beautiful it will be when the lake is full again. The only thing that was different for us was not having curtains or blinds in the whole back area (sunroom,back door, kitchen) and the front windows of the home. We live in the city area where we stay so we’re use to some sort of closure. Other than that definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend this property and come back again ourselves. We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on Carolina Beach! The location was perfect—just steps from the beach, which made it easy to pop back and forth throughout the day. The front porch was one of our favorite spots, with two comfy chairs and a table and chairs that were perfect for evening snacks and card games. We also loved how close the house was to everything. It was an easy walk to a great coffee shop, Crush and Grind, as well as several fun and casual restaurants. The boardwalk was just a nice stroll away, offering even more food options and activities. The outdoor shower was an unexpected treat—perfect for rinsing off after a day in the sand. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach getaway and would definitely stay here again!

The location was great, beautiful view from the balcony’s, nice pond behind the house, lots of stuff to do in the surrounding area. The hosts were extremely nice and responded fast throughout our stay, if you’re looking for a good deal that’s close to the beach, this is your spot.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Erin’s Home for Labor Day weekend. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as time as a family. The home was well prepared for our stay and the necessities needed were all available. It’s such a beautiful home and having access to a pool on the premises was an added plus. The homeowners also provided us a list with information to any questions we may have needed answered which was a nice touch. I recommend anyone interested in renting a home to spend with family or friends, to consider a stay here. You won’t be disappointed! My mom and I went away for a peaceful weekend and Judy and Mike offered the perfect place to stay! We were greeted by Grandma Barb who was so sweet and helpful and showed us around the place and gave useful tips and recommendations. It is clear they have all thought hard of the “little things” to make sure guests have all they need and are comfortable. Everything was clean and instructions were clear. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the quick walk to the beach. We particularly loved the provided beach chairs, and the cozy robes in the closet for lounging in the evening! This was a great place to stay and we would love to come back one day!

It was the perfect stay for our family- my four kids (aged 3-8), four adults and a set of grandparents. The hosts had thought of everything! The elevator was so nice for the grandparents and for moving luggage up and down when coming and going. So clean and comfortable! It was a quick walk to the beach. The marsh area in the back was fun and unique. We caught a crab which was fun for the kids. All the beach gear and toys and chairs and wagons were SO NICE. We didn't have to pack those things to bring with us which was the best. Our kids loved the golf game and the basketball game in the basement. Really can't say enough good things about the house and the hosts. We would definitely go back!

Lauren’s place was perfect for the group that we had. Felt right at home. Plenty of beds. Backyard had a swing set and playhouse for the 6 year old that was with us. Fenced in backyard was great for the dog. Lauren was very proactive, always wanted to know if there was anything we needed. Highly recommend her place.

we had a lovely stay in this beach house. there are a lot of stairs, but the elevator was amazing for suitcases and for a dog that traveled with us that had a bad hip. There was a ton of space to hang out or spend time in your rooms. The balconies were lovely to see the ocean and to get a breeze in the house. The walk to the boardwalk was also a nice thing to do to spend time and overall just a really lovely home to stay in.
