Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Orvin

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

Very good stay, quick and simple welcome, very clean house. I recommend it and will come back if we have the opportunity .

There were three of us in the Stadthüsli. It was a very nice place to stay. We felt very well taken care of and would definitely be happy to come back!

Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. We had a lovely weekend at Sabine's. The house is big, welcoming and clean! Games are available for the kids to play. Really like "at Grandma's" Sabine and her family were attentive, helpful and above all very available. Thanks! We recommend! Perfect walking distance from the farm 2km. Bicycle ride The sun was at the rendezvous, we were able to have our meals outside in the shade of the lime trees. What happiness!

Complete and great home for a very good price. We stayed in this house for 2 nights to bridge our trip back. We visited the city of Colmar.. really recommended! We'd love to come back in this area because there is more beauty to discover😀

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

Maja was friendly and available, lives upstairs and passed by to check everything was good and make any needed arrangements. There was extra care in little details, like leaving some swiss snack on the table for when I checked-in, and personalizing a welcoming note on the door. The place felt to me very much like home, is very peaceful (no cars/ streets noise if you have the window of the bedroom and kitchen closed), the window from the bathroom fazes the garden and you can hear the birds from there in the morning, it was lovely. Everything was clean and had a nice, clean, neutral smell. The kitchen had all I needed and more to cook every day, the bed was very comfortable to me, and there were lots of options of lights (different dense/ light curtains and smaller and bigger lamps), which gave me the freedom to personalize the atmosphere. Perfect for our family stay. The studio isn't big, but we weren't there to stay locked up. It had everything we needed and even a crib for our daughter. Simone is very responsive by message and was able to advise us. Thanks again!

Cosy and homely. Very prettily decorated with the host seeing to small details such as blankets, wraps, etc. Definitely thoughtful touches. Heating was fantastic, the apartment always felt warm even amidst colder weather outdoors.

Great stay in Switzerland with Alina who is very responsive and kind! The photos are a good fit for the listing and the details from the host were so helpful. In addition, Alina had left a little Easter treat for our grandson! I would highly recommend it!

Can’t rate our experience at Janines place highly enough! She was so lovely and accommodating. Place was wonderful and Janine went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend staying at Basecamp!

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

Kathi was a great host. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at her apartment. Spacious, clean and a amazing view of lake brienz. Definitely recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Patrizia and Antonio. The welcome and care is very warm, the room was very homely and nicely decorated. The breakfast was rich and fine, in fine weather we could cook and eat outside in the garden with a small kitchen. We will be happy to come back and thank you again for the wonderful stay. We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

This studio is fantastic. Large, super clean and comfortable. Very quiet. My husband was ready to move in! Lots of little touches to make life convenient like oil and vinegar at the ready. The location is super although it took us a day to figure it out. The parking spot is a great advantage. Leave the car (parking in town is super expensive) and walk down or take the bus or funicular. Grocery store also close by. Love the town which is also a great base to use to visit Geneva, Lausanne, Bern and many other places. Plus it is easy to spend 2-3 days exploring Fribourg. We would definitely come back and would rent this place again. We loved it!

Eva's place was excellent! We loved that it was so close to a grocery store and the bus stop. The little town is quiet and quaint! The views are amazing! The house was sparkling clean and well stocked. Eva let us have an early check-in which was so nice! Everything about our stay was amazing! Would definitely return and recommend! Thanks so much!
