The entire 2nd floor is for guests only! Zenkoji Temple is close by! Perfect as a base for sightseeing! You can also enjoy the view from the Japanese-style room.

[All of the 2nd floor is a guest-only space] The guest-only space on the 2nd floor is physically separated by walls and doors, so only guests can enter. As shown in the photos, there are no rooms on the second floor other than the guest space. (There is one incorrect review, but it is a malicious post. As mentioned in other reviews, we promise to keep your guest space private, safe, and secure). [Near the station and bus stop] Located along the Zenkoji Kaido, about 10 minutes by car to Zenkoji Temple, about 8 minutes on foot to the nearest station, and about 1 minute on foot to the bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Nagano. Guests have the entire floor (Japanese-style room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and bath, etc.) to themselves. * There are restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, drug stores, etc. around the accommodation, so it is very convenient and safe. * We will provide free car guidance to Zenkoji Temple, Obuse, Togakushi, Matsushiro, Susaka, Inariyama, Matsukawa Valley, etc. * We will tell you about famous hot springs, soba, sake, etc. near the accommodation. * We will guide you through Nagano, which only locals know about and is not in the guidebooks. ※ We will pick you up and drop you off free of charge to nearby tourist destinations such as Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple.

Experience life in an old house at Kominka Amamane/Goemon bath/Japanese countryside/Breakfast included/Limited to one group per day

At the foot of Mt. Mushikura, at an altitude of 800 m, there is a small village with a nostalgic landscape of rice terraces and old houses with tin roofs, and in this village is an old house called Amane. I heard that it was built in the late Edo period and that it was a temple school in the early Meiji period. I liked the presence of the house itself, the village, and the location, including the large black pillars, and moved there, and since then, I have been constantly renovating it myself. We use old materials to preserve the historical texture as much as possible. The floorboards are reused chestnut wood and rice shelf boards laid under the tatami mats. The paving stones from the garden are reused in the Goemon bath, and the storehouse door used at the Nagaya gate is reused in the entrance. In the summer, you can spend time in a cool old house without air conditioning. On the other hand, in winter, I think it feels very cold because of the drafts, but one of the things I would like you to experience is the ingenuity of living to stay a little warm, such as the self-built ondol (floor heating) and the Goemon bath. Kominka Amamane is an inn where you can experience living in a traditional house. Enjoy a rare moment of relaxation in a quiet mountain village away from the daily grind.

Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster. We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks. In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, as a base for hiking, biking, fishing, and sup golf, the snow season is also a great base for winter sports, including skiing and snowboarding. Customers who spend birthdays and anniversaries also have a service of celebration cake. Please check with me in advanced.

Anoie ()

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)
