A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!

Jenneke is very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time and hopefully can come back some day. The house is spacious with a nice outside area, weather permitting. I just love Dwingeloo.

Fabulous stay at Cottage Paulus What a great experience! The forest cottage "Paulus" is tastefully decorated and is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the middle of nature. Exactly what we needed to completely recharge. We were there with our two dogs, and they too had the time of their lives. The spacious, fully fenced garden was perfect – safe and large enough for endless snooping and scrambling around. Fareen, the hostess, is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the first contact, everything felt familiar and relaxed. She was quick to respond to questions and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace, nature and an animal-friendly place with character. We will definitely come back!

Had a great weekend. Enjoyed the nice garden with various seats and of course the wellness. Cottage really has all the comforts and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful quiet area and a 20-30 minute drive from various nice cities. Joop and Thea are very friendly and are there for you immediately. In short, highly recommended!

We (8 people) had a wonderful time in this fantastically located accommodation in the middle of the forest. The Canadian look cabin with its large terrace was a real highlight: with numerous seating options at the high table, a large dining table, a cozy lounge corner and the adjacent hot tub, it was the perfect place for us to get together. The cabin was very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen was very well equipped: there were plenty of dishes, bowls as well as many small extras such as coffee, tea and spices. Everything was thought of. The beds were freshly made, towels were ready and toilet and bathroom were very neat and clean. We particularly liked the warm nature of our hostess. Claudia is incredibly friendly and attentive. You felt comfortable and in good hands from the first moment. We didn't miss anything! We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed 3 days with 9 people, 2 dogs and a cat in this beautiful area. You can enjoy hiking nearby and relax by the fireplace. We thought it was a little cramped in terms of seating areas with 9 adults. It was a bit of a fit and measuring, but that wasn't a big deal. Furthermore, the stay has all the comforts! I would definitely come back.

we had a lovely time visiting with friends and having Guus's guest house as our base. Guus was there to greet us and we felt very welcomed. The location is secluded and peaceful with lots of walking from right out the door. The home has everything you need and is as described.

What a nice place to stay during this period. Everything is available, quiet and in the morning with your coffee in the sun. You can tell by the layout and design: what guests need has been thought about. Located between two natural parks and the Fochteloerveen, a 20-minute drive away, Diever is an ideal base for hiking. And also plenty of restaurants open now. Drenthe is on our list for repetition. Thanks Niek and Joke

We stayed for the second time in this beautiful accommodation and, as already 5 years ago, very enthusiastic about the house, garden, and the beautiful surroundings. Ragna and Lysander are very friendly hosts who have created a little paradise for their guests with a lot of love for detail. What a peaceful, relaxing place! Very private, spacious and super clean. The hosts were very responsive. And the saunas are fantastic!! Easy 5 min bike ride into the beautiful town and to the supermarket. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice apartment on a picturesque courtyard with a great garden. The apartment itself has a fireplace and is very cozy. There are toys for children indoors and outdoors and lots of animals around. There is a swimming pool nearby and beautiful cities, e.g. Elburg, are also close by. We will be happy to come back!

Very cozy and cozy cottage. Very nicely decorated and nice host! Everything you needed was present!

The place is quite peaceful and you can park your car easily however I expected to see a toilet paper inside the house that one is the only downside and finding someone else’s socks under bed is one downside too overall I had a really good time there recommended.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!

Rose's cottage is very cozy and the garden offers a lot of privacy. We felt right at home. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with our daughter of 8 in the cozy park on which the cottage is located. Around the corner the heath and a beautiful sand drift nearby the cozy Nunspeet with the best Italian ice cream at "Di Verso" . We would love to come back to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings even further. Thank you Rose!!

Dear Bryan and family, we had 4 super nice days with you! Communication was so easy and we felt well taken care of all around! The campsite is super clean, well maintained, and you feel very comfortable! The house was super nice and clean ! The normal sanitary facilities were also properly maintained and great! We are campers and found the house was sufficient for 4 persons. You already know in advance what you are getting into! We had wonderful days with you which we would like to repeat! Maybe we'll try another great place from your place!!! 😊😊😊

What a lovely cottage! Beautiful in wooded area, lots of privacy. Due to the hot weather, we have gratefully used the new outdoor furniture. We were there with our (young) children. Also very suitable for this. A beautiful playground and swimming pool nearby and in the cottage a stocked games closet. Park is within cycling distance of everything you might need. Plenty to do in the area. Esther was easy to contact, gave good instructions. Great stay!
