The stable house is a (Tiny) cottage, partially built in the old barn. You almost literally sleep in the stables!! The cottage offers privacy and has its own terrace (also covered). Your terrace is adjacent to a meadow where horses can stand. If you wish, you can also bring your own horse and stable it with us (indoors and/or outdoors). Nieuwleusen is located in the Vecht valley with villages such as Dalfsen and Ommen. The center of Zwolle is a 15-minute drive away, Giethoorn is half an hour away.

Cozy bakery a stone's throw from the German forests

In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully furnished and the private terrace has a comfortable seat, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €20 per person.

Staying at the farm

Staying at the farm, who wouldn't want that? Discover the countryside. Enjoy the space and tranquility. Nice wooden little basic house, under the oak trees, with a cozy interior. In this area you can walk and cycle, such as "het Reestdal" and "het Staphorsterbos". In the area there are entrepreneurs who sell local products at home. The places Balkbrug and Nieuwleusen are 5 km away with basic facilities. Larger places nearby are Zwolle, Meppel, Dalfsen and Ommen.

Nature lovers, take note! Relax in our vacation home, beautifully located in the middle of nature. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and the other with bunk beds. The spacious bathroom is full of comforts and the kitchen (with Nespresso coffee machine) is fully equipped. The beautiful location of our vacation home offers an abundance of peace and space. Relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy the surroundings around you.

Steelhouse - your forest escape by the lake

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits.

Bring your bike or rent a bike in our village or put on your walking shoes to optimally enjoy the Veluwe. Or come and relax and unwind in our tiny house that is equipped with all conveniences. In the middle of the beautiful Vechtdal Overijssel, you will find our beautifully restored farmhouse from 1576. The farm is a national monument and is located on an old farmyard of over 20,000 m2. Organic fruits and vegetables are grown on the farm. There are horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats and many more wild animals. In short: a place for people and children who want to embrace the real outdoors and discover the beautiful area!

In our lodging 't Veldkuikentje, you can optimally enjoy your stay in the countryside between Apeldoorn and Teuge. 't Veldkuikentje offers space for 1-6 people as a B&B/Vacation house.
