Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Park Forest Village

We had a great stay!! It was the perfect location. Everything we had planned to do was in a 10 minute driving distance. The house had a great vibe!! There was plenty of space for our group. If we are back that way again we would definitely book at Mim's!!

Our stay was truly 5 stars!The history of the home, the attention to detail of the decor, the thoughtful goodies, and the fabulous yard made it one of our favorite stays. The timing of our trip in late April was perfect for us weather wise and the Pink Dogwood and Cherry Tree were in full bloom. The location is excellent for easy access but yet has a nice private backyard. Can’t say enough about our wonderful experience.

I was with 2 other men on a couple day fishing trip around the area. The place was perfect for 3 guys. 2 used the bedroom, and I slept on an air mattress that I brought on the floor downstairs. The location was perfect for our fishing trip. The Keurig and well stocked k-cups were well used! Overall the house was clean and the bidet was the real deal. I have done a lot of travel in Asia so was familiar with them, but it was a novel experience for the other folks and they are now sold :)

Jesse’s place exceeded my expectations. It was exactly what I needed. Peace and quiet. Beautiful restful views, a walking trail right outside the back door. The swing, the screened in porch, can’t decide which is my favorite. I felt safe and comfortable as a woman alone, the house is quaint and cozy, clean and inviting. I felt “at home” as soon as I walked in. Check-in was easy, tv easy to navigate,Jesse friendly and responsive, restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend this gem. So much so I’m going back in the fall. I went for the view, I wasn’t disappointed. 5 Stars all around.

This is our third time staying at Matthew’s home so clearly we are fans! It has been the perfect stopping off point for us from the highway but if we had more time it would make a wonderful longer term stay because the surroundings are so beautiful and the hosts so warm. They are always so responsive although honestly there isn’t anything we have needed since they thought of it all!

This home is so nice and clean . The furniture and decor are comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked and the island was perfect for our needs. The layout is open and roomy. We loved the screened porch for relaxing. Nicole responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay at this house again if we are ever in the area.

Betty’s place is in a perfect location to visit my son who’s a student at PSU. We were within walking distance to local pubs and starting our day having breakfast on the front porch was awesome. Great neighborhood! We’ll be back!

The apartment was very cute. The host was extremely helpful and very easy to get in touch with. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

5 Stars – Amazing Stay with Exceptional Hosts! We had an incredible stay at this Penn State super fan household! From the moment we arrived, William & Family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Not only are they die-hard Penn State fans (which made for some great conversations!), but their generosity truly stood out. They provided extras like juice, milk, and muffins—such a kind and unexpected touch. On top of that, their dedication to coaching speaks volumes about the wonderful people they are. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming stay with fantastic hosts, this is the place! We’d absolutely love to visit again.

Leslie was attentive and responsive to any questions or requests. Her home is beautiful and comfortable! We enjoyed our stay and the local The South Side Restaurant. Note: It IS noted in the listing that you can pay extra for pets, which is fine!! But it is not friendly for someone with any kind of pet dander allergies. They clean well!! Don't get me wrong. But there are noticeable signs of pets having stayed there so if you have any allergies, be aware. I'm fine with pets so no one in our party had an issue, but I know I have family who would have been suffering. So just use caution.

I would love to stay here again! Everything was comfortable, safe, and accommodating. It’s the perfect place for a weekend up at Penn State and an easy walk to downtown State College.

Jennifer is such an amazing host, everything was spot on, great communication. Made our travels enjoyable knowing we were in great hands. Will be back next year for the Hyner Trail challenge, I recommend this location to everyone you will not regret it.

First off, Marie's home was the most beautiful I've ever been to, AirBNB or not. The architecture and quality of construction are first rate. The location is lovely and somewhat remote, but was perfect for us since it is in the midst of the sights we planned to see. Marie was very attentive and helpful during our stay. Due to food allergies, we tend to make most of our own meals when we travel, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed short of food (which we brought). We would absolutely book here again and look forward to the opportunity to do so.

i cannot say enough about Margie or her lovely home. she really tries to make it feel just like home. its a fun, unique place that has alot to offer ( more than most). every youd ever need for a relaxing stay with a wonderful host. if we had more Margies in the airbnb world, their be alot more love and comfort. i cannot wait to stay with her again in the future, it felt like mamas house, i know that sounds corny..lol thankyou again Margie. you rocked it!

I had the pleasure of staying at this condo for an entire month, and I'm so glad I did - I really enjoyed my stay! It has lots of space, it's beautifully decorated, and it had everything I needed. I really couldn't have asked for more. I took full advantage of the condo amenities, including the gym, the pool, the spa, and the sauna, and it was all included! It's so amazingly peaceful there, and my dogs loved it too. I'll miss walking my dogs around the beautiful property with the occasional detour to explore the woods. Jacinda was so kind and helped me work through an Airbnb booking issue. She even stayed late at work just to ensure I got into the property! She really went above and beyond, and I couldn't be more grateful. This is a great place to stay!

Wonderful condo that perfectly met our needs! Description was accurate and they had way more extras than anticipated (coffee pods, sugar, toilet paper, etc.). Truly appreciate the great accommodations and very specific information about the location. Others in our group stayed in the same condos and it took us forever to find it with them!

Everything was smooth and easy with our stay! No complaints!! We will use Jacinda again, when we travel back to PA.

This clean and comfortable place was exactly as advertised. It was conveniently located for our weekend plans, minutes from the Allegrippis Trails. We appreciated the small details, like s'mores supplies, USB outlets, labeled drawers, and seasoned firewood with kindling. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed at Irina's place for a month and really enjoyed it. The room was super comfortable, and Dan was always kind and helpful. He even brought us water and let us borrow bicycles. There was a short power outage at the end, but it became a fun memory. The only thing to note is that it’s better to have a car, since there’s no public transport to State College. Overall, a great stay in a quiet, safe neighborhood near a lovely river. Thanks so much, Irina and Dan!

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had the best time! The hosts are the nicest people and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay! The hosts kept us posted on all of the fun activities on the mountain. We loved the fireplace in the condo. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊
