“Being from the area, I can say that Miriam has a piece of gold here in Pelham/Fonthill. Location - A LOT of property... 13-acres I believe Miriam said. You are able to walk about but I mainly stayed in and enjoyed the beautiful snowy view. You are also in the middle of St. Catharines and Fonthill, lots of amenities close by. Maple sugar bush is also just down the road! Accommodation - Clean, farmhouse styled getaway. You have everything you need. Coffeemaker, microwave, sink, cutlery, iron, ironing board, hangers, washer/dryer if needed. Comfortable bed & beautiful bathroom with soaking tub. Europeans rule, no “shower” but detachable head for rinsing. Free on-site parking in drive way. Come and go as you please! Appreciated touches - Note from host with homemade muffins & fruit. Bottle of wine from local winery, a good choice too! Fresh greenery thoughtfully placed. To keep in mind: - Many stairs you reach the back entrance where the accommodation is located; not WC accessible. - Country home with well water & septic. Sulphate smell from water... but completely SAFE to drink (Miriam provides water for drinking also)... Raised in the country, Completes the full country-experience IMO. Overall, I would highly recommend Miriam’s home, and I hope to stay here again in the future.”

“Kris’s place is an absolute must! If you’re looking for a lovely and quiet weekend getaway with a friend or significant other, this is the place to be. It’s small and aesthetically pleasing and just the perfect location to relax and sip on some local wine. Only 25-30 minutes from the strip, this location is very close to all of Niagara’s attractions and the wine county. She’s very communicative and responds quickly. She checks up on you by making sure your stay is up to your standards and if you ever have any questions or concerns she’ll make sure to respond quickly. Overall, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend friends and family to visit this adorable place.”
Welcome to our warm & inviting home that is private & nestled in the middle of wine country. We offer a comfortable apartment where you can come & go from your private entrance. While the apartment is attached to our home, it is completely separate. You can view a winery across the field from your front door. You will enjoy the country setting & feel like you have escaped.
“Opening the front door to go start the car steps away, there in the farmer's field across the country road were 4 deer enjoying the early morning spring air. A little to the left, at the forest edge, was 1 more. Inside, juice drinks in the fridge, coffee, tea, popcorn and all the pots n pans we needed for stovetop and oven cooking. Even soft toilet paper for our cozy apartment stay. The washer and dryer in the apartment (with soap and dryer sheets included) were so happily convenient for us to use over our 2-week stay. Oh, one more important comment. The instant hot water for early morning, mid-afternoon or late evening showers with lots and lots of soft towels was heavenly fantastic. Yes, we had a grand stay. Amazing countryside, interesting nearby villages, towns, wineries and so close to Niagara falls, even the lesser-known scenic Balls Falls we’ll go see on our next return stay.”
