A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely lovely location, just like described and in the photos.There was the two of us and a dog and we all loved our 10 nights at ‘Le Petite Grange’.There is everything you need for a great time, super little pool, ample big enough ,nice decking area and veranda, the views are just stunning.We used the bbq two nights and just sat and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity.A 5 minute walk to the village of Monpazier with its very nice square or our favourite bar ‘Biere de la Bastide’ with their locally brewed ales and great burgers. Ideally location for visiting other local towns and villages which we did plenty of. All in all a wonderful holiday, even the rain in the last couple of days did not put a dampener on things. The host Steve was very quick at getting back to us when we had questions and Phil who looked after the pool was very friendly and shared great advice on things to do and places to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

Excellent stay in this amazing estate with beautiful views, soothing calm and many possible activities. Our two dogs were welcomed with pleasure and were the happiest with all this land away from the roads. The hosts were very welcoming and very nice. The instructions were clear. We recommend this place!!

We were two couples to share this lovely country home. Despite the rain and cool temperature, we were able to relax in a comfortable and well heated interior by the wood stove. In addition to enjoying a breathtaking view of the village, the show of animals wandering freely in their respective spaces was most enchanting. Sofie and Irm are welcoming hosts who care about our comfort. A special thank you for offering us the eggs of their chickens!

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. A wonderful stay, very nice domain with lots of animation, cozy gites, a host who leaves you in freedom but also very accessible and approachable with golden tips but also always interested in how things are really going. we would really recommend it to anyone both families with young children and older children. It is a beautiful area to explore and Anne Sophie, her husband Pascale and daughter Lily are incredibly attentive and sweet. Fantastic to be there!

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

The area was already known to me having had a second home for years sold some time ago. I was pleased with the house. A little tricky to find the first time but a great private hidden away location very close to Montcuq. Loved the property which remained lovely and cool when it was 33 degrees outside and made the most of the small swimming. The teenagers loved the TV den upstairs and it gave them their own space away from the adults. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental. Thank you Florian

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.

Spacious and beautiful place with very nice hosts!

Very nice and beautiful quiet accommodation. Warm atmosphere even though I only stayed one night.

We stayed for 18 days. Marie the owner is very pleasant and accomidating and was there when we needed her but left us to enjoy our stay. The Gite is lovely. Bedrooms comfortable and radiators keep the place warm as we stayed in January. It is only 10 minutes drive to Eymet and we'll worth a visit and 30 minutes easy drive to Bergerac. We would highly recommend this site.

A great stay in Coralie's cottage, it feels like home. The house is very nice and well maintained, with everything you need to feel good. Coralie is adorable and very responsive. And the area is very nice:) Go with your eyes closed!

I spent three nights at Siglinda's place with my companion and our dog, visiting the greater Dordogne area, and I have only positive things to say! The house is very well located, calm but quite close (by car) to many attractions in the area. It has a very nice front yard and a huge field where our dog could roam around. Our host was always very responsive to whatever questions we might have, and check-in/check-out was completely straightforward. And the area is simply beautiful. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay here, the setting is just fabulous with loads of outside space and a great pool area. The accommodation arrangement was perfect, as our kids had their own mini-suites which gave us all some privacy. The inside of the main gite, specifically the kitchen area and the showers, could could do with a bit of tlc, but this didn't affect our enjoyment and we would definitely recommend. Thankyou!

What a great stay in Jill and Simon's cottage! The cottage is very charming, perfectly equipped and nestled in a beautiful natural setting! We stayed there with our two kids and everything was perfect: the large outdoor pool, the huge garden where we were able to meet deer several times, the many nearby sites to visit...Jill and Simon were incredible hosts, with unbeatable kindness and hospitality that went a long way in making this stay unforgettable. We'll come back to that, that's for sure.

Small independent and functional house without a very quiet neighbor in the forest. No noise. You can enjoy the birdsong and forest. Complete equipment, including essentials needed which is rare. Great hosting. That was perfect, thank you!

We had a great week with family, in a peaceful place where everything is thought out for children, safety and comfort, games on the ground floor and upstairs, then in a covered and enclosed space near the pool and others outdoors in the garden… our son was delighted to go feed the goats and chickens with Fiona, a great host who is very attentive and very pleasant, whom I thank for this beautiful stay 😌 Available: baby crib, bed gate, small potty for cleanliness, changing mat, safety gates for stairs, plastic cutlery, baby chair, and plenty of games for young and old inside and outside the home. Secure swimming pool and enclosed garden. Everything is there to have a peaceful vacation without overloading yourself when you have young children. I recommend this host without so much as a second thought. 😁

We had 10 dreamy days at Sonia and Samuel's. They were very welcoming and super attentive to our needs! We were even able to feed the animals with them, which delighted my 9-year-old daughter-in-law (and so were we). The setting is idyllic, the view of the countryside from the pool, the sunset and the stars well visible at night are breathtaking, the calm is very soothing. The house is super cool, which makes a lot of good in the heat. You just have to know that the pool and terrace do not directly overlook the house, it is just opposite crossing a very small street, but it is not very disturbing because there is never a passage:-) The area is sublime, the calm and the landscapes will be greatly missed. We will be back with great pleasure!
