Our stay at this incredible Airbnb was nothing short of magical. The house itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, comfortable, and set right in the middle of a lush natural paradise. Every day felt like a nature documentary come to life! We were visited daily by curious monkeys, spotted majestic iguanas lounging nearby, and even saw scarlet macaws soaring through the trees. It was surreal. What made the experience even more special was the help and hospitality of Mariana, who went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable trip. She provided fantastic tips on exploring the area and even arranged an experience we’ll never forget—a baby sea turtle release! Watching those tiny creatures make their way to the ocean was one of the most heartwarming and memorable moments of our lives. This place is a true hidden gem—perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, or anyone looking to disconnect and experience the wild beauty of Costa Rica.

I love the quiet location and great view! We were returning for a 3rd visit to this house and it’s always great! Walkable food, drinks, coffee and beach. Great hosts, always super responsive and kind. They’re helpful with things around the house and know everything about the area if you need anything. The beach is paradise! The house is a perfect place for you to feel like you’re miles away from anything, when really it’s just a quick walk

If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay nestled in the lush heart of the Costa Rican jungle, look no further than this hidden gem just outside of Puerto Viejo near Playa Chiquita. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the vibrant sounds of nature—howler monkeys in the distance, birds in every color imaginable, and the occasional curious creature making a cameo on the property. It felt like we were living inside a nature documentary—in the best way possible. The house itself was absolutely charming. We loved its unique design and the character it carried throughout. One of our favorite features was the artwork—beautiful pieces created by local artists that adorned the walls. WE LOVED THE QUINTA!!! We were 12 seniors and had an amazing time at this beautiful and comfortable property. Francisco was always very responsive and proactive and showed us the place in detail. Ana, the administrator, was so sweet and attentive to our needs and also cooked delicious meals for us. Douglas took care of the beautiful gardens and the pool. We enjoyed relaxing massages. The town is close by and has a good super market and restaurants. We had a lot of fun during our stay and loved the place. THANK YOU all of you for your wonderful hospitality!

Two words “ absolutely breathtaking”! I think that pretty much sums up this place. The Host and his team were all super helpful. The property is located on top of a Mountain with INCREDIBLE views. You get a full on view of the tail once the tide recedes. The place was extremely modern and clean. I absolutely loved every piece of decor throughout the villa. I would recommend this place over and over again, to everybody. One thing I would recommend, is that you take the hosts’ advice and stop at the Supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up. It’s a good 20mins just to get back down for some water😂

We really enjoyed our stay at Celine’s and Mickael’s place. Also the pictures are not showing how beautiful this place really is. If you’re looking for a private place with all facilities you need and close to anything you want to do in Puerto Viejo, we would definitely recommend this place.

La casa es hermosa, y espaciosa, el aseo impecable, pero es una casa para 6 personas, no para 8, el cuarto que acondicionan, no es apto para una pareja, cierran una parte de la terraza con cortinas, la del frente y la de atrás son muy transparentes, no hay espacio para poner las cosas, es una terraza, en la noche las luces del jardín que están encendidas toda la noche, se traslucen a ese espacio, asi que quien tenga que dormir ahí no tiene calidad de sueño, además está a la par de la cocina, asi que todo se escucha,así que ese espacio no es apto para dormir y menos cobrar extra por ello, todo el resto de la casa es perfecta para las 6 personas, tiene una excelente ubicación, ademas se respira tranquilidad x que está en una zona residencial.

Three of us stayed at Wanderlust to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Highlights of the accommodations were the incredibly comfortable beds, the peaceful atmosphere and the fantastic hot tub. What really makes this place stand out is Jai. Jai could not have done more to make our stay a magical occasion. She provided us with impeccable food and drink recommendations, connected us with local, trustworthy transportation and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Jai really is a special treat. We all hope to be back someday.

We stayed at Whit’s place for one week as two families with young children. The size of the home was very spacious for our group of 10 and the location of the home feels very private. The views from the hot tub, pool, master bedroom, and dining space are all absolutely phenomenal! Which the owner, Simone the concierge, Vlad the chef are all true gems. Simone helped us plan our entire trip by offering recommendations that look for activities and was always immediately responsive, including when we couldn’t find our shuttle driver at 6 AM!. Vlad the chef is friendly, punctual, creative, and allows for a gourmet experience at the house. Highest recommendation for this amazing villa!

Very unique place. A little dated but nothing that would harm the experience. No AC but you can make a cool draft by strategically opening windows. I can’t say we missed having an AC at all. Lots of nature around, wake up to birds chirping every morning. Host was very responsive and helpful. We had a private chef cook us dinner per his recommendation and had a fantastic experience. Overall, if you’re an adult couple looking for a unique and romantic place this is a great option.
