Holiday rentals with a pool in Qualicum Beach

Our multi-age group (12 guests in total…15 yrs - over 50) had an excellent stay at Matt’s property. The pictures posted are very accurate, but they don’t do this property justice. Multiple seating areas inside the house and out meant everyone could sit in a smaller group and “catch-up” with each other. The location is super close to Duncan yet it is not in a suburban neighbourhood. The short distance out of town makes this property feel like you’re actually “getting away from the daily grind of life.” Matt was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the farm fresh eggs he left for us one morning. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware that one might need. The BBQ space is well equipped with BBQ tools and there is lots of seating so we could all dine together. When we were leaving we all wished we had just a couple more days to enjoy our time together at this beautiful property. Would definitely book again. Matt is an EXCELLENT host!

This was a beautiful place to stay and enjoy time with our family. The pool and games room was a highlight! The house was fully stocked with every thing neccesary, even a generous suprise of treats!! The hostess was kind, quick to respond, and made our stay perfect! We highly recommend staying at this house!😊

We loved our week at Tea By the Sea. Janet was an excellent host - we felt welcomed and taken care of but also had a peaceful private place to stay. Our dog just loved the fireplace, nearby trails and beach. The space was large and well laid out - when travelling with kids it’s so great to have a kitchen to cook in and laundry as well. Looks like the pool area will be wonderful in warm weather. We’ll stay again!

The house was private and kid-friendly. There was something to do for the whole family and we very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Hosts were very responsive and accommodative. House was very clean and has ample space to host guests. There are multiple spaces to dine. Location is very ideal and located very nearer to dining places and ferry. We couldn’t utilize much backyard and pool due to winters but backyard overall looked fun. Would recommend the place!

This unit is a great place to stay. Almost new so feels very welcoming and stylish yet comfortable. Lovely bedrooms, especially the primary which has a huge window with a fantastic water view. Bathrooms modern and functional. Beds very comfortable and linens and towels all fresh and nice. Liked having the bathroom downstairs as well for easy access and great laundry facilities. Good size balcony with a great bbq. The pool area is a great feature and we were fortunate with the September weather to get to use it. My husband also used the gym area a couple of times. Beach access isn't the best from this resort but you are a short walk or drive to the Provincial park access - 3 min drive. There are a couple of eating spots close by and a great spa experience just across the street. My hubby and I are already booked to go back next year!

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

What a gem! Monica's place was outstanding. Short walk to the beach and the common pool and hot tub were exactly as described and perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond with anything you might need for cooking, which we loved. This is often not the case in many AirBnB's so we were very happy about this. This place was quiet and cozy and we loved the community feeling of the resort. Monica was great with communicating quickly. We will definitely return.

Our party included 4 adults and two children. We stayed in the house for four nights. This is something which we do every summer, staying in different houses near Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We were happy with our rental this year (2024). We liked the fact that this complex includes a swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. (We used the beach folding chairs which are available in the unit.) We also walked in the adjacent Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We also drove to some stores in town. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the BBQ for three of the dinners. It was useful that one of the bedrooms includes a desk. Sandy communicated with us (via the AirBnB app) several times. We had a great vacation. I should also mention that after we checked out we discovered that my granddaughter left a certain item behind. Sandy assured me that it will be mailed to us. Thank you!

I wanted a peaceful relaxing get away with lots of nature and things to do even if it rains. This place was everything I could have asked for in this season. From communicating with the lovely host Christina, who was always responding quickly to all inquiries, to the cozy studio that supplied the most needed kitchen utensils and a big fridge, big bath tub, to the amenities (the outdoor hot tub was my favourite) and surroundings, I really enjoyed my stay. I will return, but next time in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor activities like the fire places, patios, pickle ball courts and kayaks.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Randy and Barb's. The rooms provided just enough space for myself, my husband and two young kids, and well as my in-laws. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the living room was cozy, and the big tub was much appreciated! The best part is the location. Just steps from the ocean (we did two cold dips!), with a nice little pathway around the estuary and outdoor hot tub on the grounds. The Englishman River Falls park is also nearby and is such a gem. This is a great spot to visit for those who love the outdoors and appreciate a few resort style amenities.

The Strand out of Pacific Shores Resort was perfect for my little family. The space is very modern & cozy. We utilized all the amenities such as the indoor & outdoor hot tubs, sauna, outdoor children’s heated pool in the winter, indoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Jenn & Nikki were amazing hosts super friendly & responsive. We felt so at home in their space. I was pregnant through our stay and enjoyed taking baths in the soaker tub with the fire place on. We took walks each day along the ocean and up into the estuary. One day we walked right to Rathtrevor Beach & stopped for lunch at Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort. I plan to return with my family in the future hopefully for years to come. This place holds its own magic and is great for island folks looking for a staycation. Our little one enjoyed the beach and playground. We enjoyed being close to Nanaimo, but far enough away you can take in the stars at night and listen to the ocean without the sounds of the city.

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

A well-equipped and spacious suite in a great location just a couple of minutes south of the Parksville strip. The whole resort appears to be kept in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of cosy furniture in the dining and living area. As always, I brought a few cooking utensils from home, things that are often not supplied at b&b's. Didn't need any of them; the kitchen is efficiently laid out and very nicely equipped. Andrea's instructions were clear and helpful, and her polite requests for check-out procedures very reasonable. We were 3 adults and one 7-year old. We all had a wonderful stay.
