Private suite holiday rentals in Qualicum Beach

This was our first vacation with our baby and we chose the Forest suite because we had booked a few years ago. Penny was very accommodating and provided some baby items to make our stay more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hottub & sauna. Penny made sure we had enough wood to sauna every day. Everything was very clean. The space was quiet & private and is the perfect location to explore Ukee. We look forward to booking again!

Comfy, clean and spacious and in a great neighbourhood. Kitchen was well stocked for making a quick meal, we even got to enjoy some sunshine on the deck! It was heaven. Would recommend to anyone going to the area and we hope to return! A bit of noise through the adjoining doors to the main house- didn’t bother us, as it’s a suite in a home and that’s to be expected.

Gales airbnb was absolutely lovely and a perfect place to stay during our time in Powell River! Great location that is a short drive from hiking trails, restaurants, and breweries, and a comfortable and clean living space. Check in was very easy, and she had even left out fresh fruit and croissants for us! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others :)

The hosts were kind and communicative (despite my anxious dog not making a great first impression!). The hosts provided a fenced in 'back yard' area at the entrance to the suite, which made for many sunny hours lounging in the sun after a walk to the river at the back of the property. The interior of the suite is quite basic and not the most private (I believe their office is on the other side of the door in the living room area and not sound-proofed), and you must be sure to keep your food secured as there are a lot of ants in the suite/kitchen - but what the suite itself lacks is made up for by the sprawling green expanse of the farm and surrounding wildlife. The alpacas were curious and friendly, and my dog enjoyed watching the neighbour's geese down the road. Overall I think my dog enjoyed the property even more than the beaches we visited while in town. Thanks again for the stay! I would visit again just to sit at the river and bask in the forest.

We had an absolutely great stay! Eva was super helpful and kind. She gave us a ton of local recommendations for the pups and us. The space was cozy and met all our needs! Would definitely stay again!

June was easy to communicate with and generously gave us the amenities and space we needed to easily enjoy our stay. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings.

Great stay! Tabitha is extremely communicative and has the best recommendations. The place had everything you need and was thoughtfully designed with the guests in mind. Froth milk and fresh baked banana bread made the stay above and beyond!

Rosanne and her partner were amazing hosts right from booking and throughout our stay. They went above and beyond. Safe & friendly neighbourhood with all amenities within walking distance. Would stay again the next time I’m in Campbell River and would highly recommend to others.

This was a perfect place to spend the night before embarking on the Frances Barkley. We were in a quiet neighbourhood about 10 minutes away from the harbour. The home was clean and inviting, the beds and linens comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our supper. Sitting on the deck in the evening was a lovely bonus. Becky and Luke have an amazing place! It is brand-new and spotlessly clean. They've thought of everything that a guest may want: comfortable sofa and bed, well-equipped kitchen, modern bath with soaps and shampoo and so many little extras throughout the place such as extra towels, gift cookies, lots of coffee and tea and blankets to cover yourself while watching a movie, to name a few. There's an outside deck that's private and a hot tub too. They obviously put a lot of thought into creating this little oasis and their pride of ownership shows at every turn. This place is a gem for singles or couples and feels like a luxury retreat. Highly recommend this stay! Many Thanks!

Beautiful place in nature!

This was a wonderful space to unwind and enjoy the beauty of salt spring island. Lisa and Gary were excellent hosts and helpful with recommendations and assistance as needed. We enjoyed the patio, hot tub, grill, and view throughout the stay. The frogs lulled us to sleep and birds woke us up daily. It is a place we hope to return to for sure.

What a great place! Even better than it looked in the photos! And everything, from check-in to communication to check out was very easy!

We found the place clean, bright and well organized. The bedrooms were separated from each other and in a quiet location. The entrance was street level and parking was in driveway and/or on boulevard in front of house. Kitchen was well equipped and big windows for a brighter feel so you don’t feel like you’re in a basement at all! The bike storage was secure and large and held our 5 bikes easily. Hose for rinsing off bikes was handy after riding on muddy trail. The only thing was the queen bed was a little firmer than we like so we solved it with putting a memory foam topper on it and it was perfect but we know that we always bring the topper as we like our bed on the softer side. The location has easy access to the Cumberland trails and walkable to Main Street to cafe and restaurants, the town has a really nice vibe! We would not hesitate to come back to stay here and it’s easy access to Campbell River which has more beautiful flowy trails and the Fish & chips at Dicks were great!

Michael provided my mother a last minute stay and was so accommodating and helpful with the accommodation of his beautiful stay. I highly recommend this tranquil and peaceful stay with creature comforts and quiet wooded environment. I have nothing but great things to say for Michael's airbnb and his very polite and friendly communication.

Claudie and Taryn are great hosts , no need to hesitate here , I’m a traveling contractor so I’ve been in my fair share of places , you don’t feel like your living in someone else’s home here , private , clean and comfortable, good communication and great price , best in the area 👌

Amazing experience in all aspects. Craig was extremely accommodating and helpful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. He was even thoughtful enough to have fresh coffee cream in the fridge for our morning caffeine fix. We would stay there again if we make our way back to Nanaimo.
