Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Raystown Lake

Very beautiful place, easy to relax and get away. Keppy and Ron were great hosts, I appreciated the homemade peanut butter cookies!

My friend and I took a weekend trip to have quality time together. This was a perfect, peaceful place. We chose it mostly because of the sheep. Little did we know they have a donkey and 2 adorable pigs, too! I asked the host what I could bring to feed them. The donkey and pigs enjoyed carrots and sugar cubes. For some reason, the sheep weren’t interested! As you can tell, the animals were my favorite part, but the house was great, too. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for making all of our meals there. The shower isn’t fancy but I liked it because the water gets nice and hot! We enjoyed the electric fireplace. Cell service is not very good but that’s part of being in the peaceful environment of the rural area. WiFi worked well. The outside is so nice and open. It was only a 20 minute drive to Bedford. I’d definitely go back again! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at Connie's Cottage. Jessie was accomodating and great with communicating. The area is rich with history and the walking path on the river is gorgeous and peaceful. Living spaces are super clean and comfortable with everything one could need. The screened in porch was a great place to enjoy the birds singing while reading a book. Overall great stay and would love to return in the future!

Super unique experience! We so enjoyed meeting Tara and her husband and learning about the region. Highly recommend going on a buggy tour with them.

Joe was an excellent host and was easy to communicate with and quick to respond throughout the whole process. The house itself was great and easily accommodated our larger sized group. The showers throughout were all very upgraded which was a nice touch. Excellent place and host, thanks Joe!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We spent a long Easter weekend there with our children and grandchildren and had the best time. The location was close to town but felt so peaceful and serene. We could enjoy the breathtaking view from the back of the property while relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit while still keeping an eye on the children playing on the swings and slides. The house was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone and was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. There were many thoughtful details throughout. The home is set up with children in mind both inside and out. The owners were wonderful to deal with and provided excellent communication including suggestions on things to see and do. Bedford is an adorable town with cute shops, good food, and lots to explore locally. We will be back to stay again!

Robert's place was just as described. Great location and felt right at home. If the opportunity ever comes up for me to travel up here again, I definitely know where to look first!

Garys Base Camp provided a quiet and comfortable stay for our daughter and friends as they took advantage of the areas autumn offerings and State College experiences. They're already looking forward to their future rebooking. Nice work Gary!

April place was a small and cozy place within a short drive to the ski slopes. Just what we were looking for. She was also extremely responsive and nice as we first had a hard time finding the right unit.

Paul's place was very relaxing and had all amenities listed. A great place to stay!

George was a great host. His place was as good as advertised.

I’ve stayed at Gail’s multiple times and it always lives up to my expectations. The pictures match the space and it’s clear that the host is always improving their venue. I highly recommend this venue.
