We are renting a 95 square meter spacious and quiet apartment in the countryside, in close proximity to Hamburg and the Lüneburg Heath. In the immediate vicinity are the museum village "Freilichtmuseum am Kiekeberg" and the "Wildpark Schwarze Berge." In the village there is a supermarket and a bakery within walking distance. Designated hiking and riding trails as well as bike paths start right outside the front door. Both Hamburg city center and Lüneburg and the Lüneburg Heath can be reached in 30 minutes.

Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altem Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. In 15 minutes you are in the city of Hamburg via the A1. Rade belongs to the joint municipality of Neu Wulmstorf in the district of Harburg. Rade has its own highway exit and access, making the highway exit easy to find even for those unfamiliar with the area. A great former retail space near the Schanzenviertel. Bars and restaurants nearby. Bus and train almost right outside the door. Reeperbahn, Altona, Elbe, Messe and the city are within easy reach. The ground floor has been extensively restored by us and supplemented with a bathroom and toilet in the old staircase basement corridor. We often use the loft space as a photo studio and occasionally rent it to nice people. It is suitable for families but also for business travelers.

Happy Place Gödenstorf

Our Happy Place is located 40km south of Hamburg near the A7, 20km from Lüneburg. Seven years ago, our family decided to move from Hamburg to the country. Since then Gödenstorf has become our Happy Place. In 2017, we decided to build an apartment in our farm roof and share our Happy Place with guests. Our Shetland ponies, and our three children, are looking forward to taking our guests along for the ride.
