Listing Location Really good! The first floor didn't have to be heavy to climb. 7 minutes on foot to the big mart? It was really nice to go there The scenery around the hotel was beautiful and nice. I also had all the dishes and kitchen utensils.

We had a great stay here. The apartment is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook, relax and enjoy our stay. The location is good, the train station and bus stop is a block away and it's a short trip into Heidelberg Altstadt (old town). The river valley outside really makes for a nice view with the houses dotting the hill. There are some hiking trails connecting the neighborhood to Konigstuhl, which offers a really great view of Heidelberg and the path down from there takes you behind the castle. Sandra and her family live in the surrounding units and took care to make sure our stay was comfortable. We have nothing to complain about, this was a good stay for us and we would happily stay here again.

Sandra’s place is wonderful. It’s in a great location! Close to the metro and bus, grocery stores are about 10-15 minutes away, and the old city is one metro stop away or a 40 minute walk along the river. Its very relaxing and was perfect for mine and my mom’s stay.

Sandra's apartment is new, comfortable, warm and nice. Completely furnished and with all kind of amenities to cook and stay comfortable. It is located in a very nice and green area close to the river. There are no shops nor supermarkets very close, but REWE is at about 7' walking. The location is very convenient because, although you are a bit outside Heidelberg, you can get to the city center by bike in 10-15' and you have the train station and bus stops (buses 33 and 35) at 3 and 5' from the apartment. It's a pity that the apartment is not at all bright during winter days: it's in the ground floor and trees and a camper stop the daylight. On the other hand, if you need darkness to sleep well, you might want to know that curtains are white. These are little minor details, I enjoyed very much Sandra's apartment during the month and half that I stayed there.

Lovingly furnished, spotless apartment. By public transport fast in the old part of Heidelberg or in the Neckar nature park (rapid-transit railway / bus). No parking in the immediate vicinity, loading and unloading but easily possible. Car can then be parked within walking distance near the station. Gladly again!

Alexandra and Christoff are super hosts!!! I felt myself as if I was at home. They were always and easily reachable per Chat or Whatsapp. Check out was easy, friendly and home warming. The room has both a private access and a private bathroom. It is equipe with an electric stove and a small refrigerator. They had the bet tips about local cultural activities and, if you like coffee, this is the best AirBnB you can find in Heidelberg. The bus and train stations (S-Bahn) are located 8min away on a light walking speed. Supermarket is at a 5min walk distance. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful with a nice view to the mountains. I certainly recommend this place!!! Hope to see you again soon!!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here! Alexandra & Christoff welcomed us upon arrival. The room had everything you might need, with an ensuite and a small kitchenette. The bed was super comfy too! It's easy to get to Heidelberg, which is about 10-20 minutes away by bus/train.

An absolutely lovely, cozy little suite that is perfect for all basic needs with the amazing bonus of a peaceful, beautifully appealing area of the Neckar! I have stayed in Heidelberg about four times up to this point, and the area around Alexandra's and Christoff's place was by far my most favorite because of how well-located their home is to the city center and how easy it is to use the buses (35 and 33) as well as the S-Bahn, which is an 8-10 minute walk from their home. Being able to easily access Rewe for groceries was also a bonus because it is only about a 5-7 minute walk from their home as well. The hospitality that I experienced upon arrival from this family is the utmost amazing that I have experienced from any family in Germany! Christoff would check up on me and ask if I'd like to join for a coffee, and even though I wasn't able to because of the minimal gaps within my online work schedule, I still really loved this thoughtfulness of the offer. I also appreciated how they made sure to keep their wifi constant for the purpose of my online teaching. Alexandra's and Christoff's son also provided me with the BEST local recommendations of restaurants, bars, and sightseeing activities in Heidelberg, all of which I found especially helpful. The apartment itself is fairly small, connected to Alexandra's and Christoff's home, but it is very easily accessible and you have a beautiful green garden just outside of your window :) Heating was perfect also for the colder days! I had a wonderful stay and I am looking forward to coming back soon to this beautiful area. Thank you once again Alexandra + Christoff for everything!! Much love always from the U.S. :-)

Magdalena and Wilfried were such amazing hosts. After five weeks of travel through France, Italy, Austria and Germany, this was easily our best Airbnb experience. We absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb in Heidelberg. They made us feel so welcome, and were so helpful with advice on transport options too. It is only one train stop from the Altstadt, and has an excellent supermarket nearby. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Heidelberg.

This is such a lovely Airbnb! All four of us would highly recommend to anyone visiting Heidelberg and area. The unique interior with claw foot tub, the provided food for breakfast, fresh apples from the tree, fresh flowers from the lovely garden. Above and beyond my expectations.

This is the most hearty home stay I have ever stayed in, especially like my own home. The landlord couple is a very elegant person, careful and caring! The house is more beautiful than the picture. The wooden piano to the silver tableware has a sense of time, and the decoration is quite interesting. There are all kinds of tableware, and there are three light coffee pots. Looking at the way the hostess takes care of the garden every morning, I feel that life is especially good. I hope I will come again soon!

Wilfred and Magdalena’s place is beautiful. They have decorated it with wonderful collectible things like paintings and furniture. It was wonderful and convenient. A 5 min walk from the bus stop and a 5 min walk from the supermarket. We had a wonderful time.

The apartment is in a beautiful house and has a lot of charm. Even the physical well-being was thought and so there was of the nice hosts everything you need for breakfast, which we especially enjoyed. The old town can be reached quickly by car or by public transport. My family and I would come back anytime.

The apartment you will ask for! The best place you need to stay with a kind and helpful hosts. Clean, quiet, big and have everything thing you will need. I stayed there for a month and it was just perfect. Franca was the best host, friendly, helpful and kind. You need to walk around 10 minutes daily. There are 2 bus stops one needs to go strong uphill, and another easy walk. I strongly recommend this apartment.

Francas Appartment is up in the hills overlooking Heidelberg with a spectacular garden. The appartment is spacious, well equiped and very nicely furnished, comfortable and quiet.

Was a pleasant stay at Franca. Everything clean and tidy. Cyclists should take into account that it is very uphill from the river Neckar here to the accommodation. We knew that, but nevertheless I would like to point out that even with Ebike you can reach its limits. But otherwise recommended.

Serh sweet little apartment. I felt very comfortable right away. There is everything you need, the kitchen is a bit old-school, but convenient. The only drawback: the apartment is very noisy, you can hear almost every step of the family above. But otherwise an absolutely great place to stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Mark & Masako's apartment, located a few miles from Heidelberg city center. The apartment is spacious, clean, quiet, and has a very comfortable bed. The owners were absolutely wonderful to me and really set this Airbnb stay apart from others. I'd gladly stay there again.

Everything as described, immediately felt at home, especially the bed (exclusive box spring bed) was just right for my back pain!

We were as a family for 3 days in Heidelberg. The apartment is in a great location, close to town and close to the forest. There is ample parking. Everything was very clean and lovingly decorated. This is always the most important thing for us as a family. The equipment was totally fine (TV, fridge, coffee maker ...), so that you could feel comfortable. Our hosts were very straightforward and very approachable. It will be difficult for the money to find a better apartment. We will gladly come again.

Very nice apartment, but not for people with physical limitations. Kitchen fully equipped, beds great! The large balcony on the living room we could in the afternoon after a busy day in beautiful Heidelberg with a coffee in the sun to enjoy.

Great place, more than you need on trip, kitchen wonderful all what you need is there. Many table games, TV and music with many CD and big library with so interesting books. View from terrace was amazing! We travel with bicekle to Heidelberg old Town it's takes 15 min Apartments is located on hill and every day we had a small workout to come back to apartments :) I would like to came back. We come to Heidelberg nce a year and next time I would like to stay here again.

Everything was fine. A beautiful, spacious apartment in top location. With everything you need to feel good!

The three of us there over Christmas, the location is quiet, the view is very nice, the parking is easy, which is not common for Heidelberg. The underfloor heating is very pleasant and the terrace is large and you can see all over Schlierbach. We will be back.

During our stay we had good luck with the weather, so we could use our terrace for breakfast while enjoying the beautiful view. The apartment has a pleasant underfloor heating and the beds were comfortable. There is even a guest bed, so that the apartment could also be used by three or even four. We felt very comfortable during the week. Since the apartment is located on top of the mountain, it is not within walking distance.

If you want to feel it like home this is the place! You can get rest and also be close to the city center if you are with a car. It was pleasure to stay at Franca’s place! And definitely will be back!

We were in Heidelberg on a mini-break and wanted a quiet location. Franca‘s apartment was ideal! Modern, spacious, spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed. So peaceful, we could have spent the whole time out on the terrace overlooking the wooded hills and the valley below. Franca’s booklet provided us with lots of useful info on the surroundings in German and English. We had no car, but had no problem getting about with the excellent bus service which ran from early morning till late at night. Easy to shop at the local butcher, bakeries and Edeka supermarket - rucksack for carrying up the hill recommended! We had a wonderful time and Franca is a delightful host, well organised and responds straight away. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We spent 11 days in Heidelberg in this great apartment (we are my husband, our twins and me) and were, as well as previous speakers, very enthusiastic !! Great hosts, great communication, great tips, great location, nice apartment, super clean etc. etc. - simply we liked it a lot, we'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a very nice appartment on a beautiful location. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is there. It's clean and modern and has a nice terrace, so you can sit outside en enjoy te beautiful view. The old city of Heidelberg is near. The challeging Rosensteige brings you with a 10 minutes walk to the local pizzeria and the grocery store. The pizza's are delicious!

We enjoyed the residence. The owner lives near and provides what we need quickly. We asked for an adapter and provided it for us. There was a hospitality in the refrigerator.

A great place for people who want to explore Heidelberg and Neckar and still want to open the base camp in the countryside and close to wonderful hiking trails. Central in Z. is not: best baker, delicious butcher, even top hairdresser, in the view the bus stop, the Edeka ... everything close, convenient, open. We hiked to Heidelberg on foot ... and have the car directly in front of the apartment cheap and hired, but also quickly reached by Ladenburg, Schwetzingen and Speyer by car. The bright studio is great for a couple, two sufficiently large floors with small spiral staircase, upstairs bedroom - downstairs kitchen. High quality bed, practical bathroom, kitchen spacious ... but especially the warm welcome, a bottle of wine and the always easy and fast communication speak for this apartment. We have two weeks with autumn raindrops super well and like to come back with sun and blooming roses! Great hosts, respectful, helpful, present.

Nora’s place is wonderful. There is free parking just outside the house and the bus stop to old town is just outside the door. The bus takes you to old town in ~15 minutes. Nora’s place was very clean and very quiet. It has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel (shampoo, hair dryer, etc.) and a very nice coffee machine!

The Apartment is very near to town with easy access to public transportation. Nora has been very kind and helpful. The apartment was clean and ready for occupy. Would recommend highly who wants to stay in Heidelberg.

Nora and her family are just fabulous hosts. Great communication and just a wonderful apartment. Nora’s father greeted us and stocked the refrigerator with eggs butter bread and milk and coffee to start us out with which we much appreciated after a tough traveling day. The bedroom and living room are in one very large area so you don’t feel cramp upstairs with a nice bathroom. Downstairs is a large kitchen and dining area with a washer and dryer in the basement. Bus stop one minute away where you can take buses 33 or 34 to the historic and downtown areas and to the train station arriving within 15-20 minutes. So convenient to visit beautiful Heidelberg. We highly recommend this great apartment and it’s wonderful hosts Glenn and Debbie of California

Sabine's place was perfect for me; she was super friendly and helpful, and her place was very close to the conference center I was attending, and everything worked fine. There are a few things to note if you plan to stay here: * There are one or two dogs that live here. The dogs are super sweet and chill (though one was a little jumpy), but keep this in mind if you are extra sensitive/allergic. * No breakfast * Not particularly close to commerce. * Located at the top of a steep hill. The last two are only an issue if you're walking/busing everywhere: there are regular buses at the bottom of the hill that will take you into Heidelberg proper (with the old town being particularly close), and other buses that go closer but less frequently. Just keep this in mind, because taking the bus that stops by the river and walking all the way up the hill with luggage can be challenging. (Though going down the hill with luggage is a breeze ;-)

This apartment is neatly tasteful. The location is a little far away from the old town, but there are convenient buses. I spent a very pleasant trip here

Very good room, very modern, clean and hassle free to check in and out. The only problem is that it is a bit far from the center but there are still good communications by tram or bus.

Mega-friendly and ideal host, always easily accessible. Good location with Balcony, on which I even dressed for a short time in the thick Winter sun could sit. Apartment squeaky clean, very modern with one 'Exceptional closet': excellent number of hangers for business and be well dressed, very practical, functional, with a large mirror for the "I look good going out check." For hobby cooks that is missing Oven, but the apartment is quiet with a great View into the distance and also with the bus you are really fast in the City and can the many good Heidelberg restaurants and other then test it. Highly recommended!

Isabel`s place is extraordinary: It is located in an immensely beautiful, lush and green area in a suburb of Heidelberg along the Neckar. A very good neighborhood. It is not downtown Heidelberg but I walked in 45 minutes to the castle on a quiet road which passes a lot of old villas. Alternatively, there are bus stops nearby. The closer one only operates during the week and the one which is some 10 minutes away also operates during the weekends. From the bus station it is a steep but enjoyable walk up the hill to Isabel`s house. If you have a lot of heavy luggage it might be a bit bothersome to get up the hill though. Generally, you can expect the neighborhood to be very quiet but when I stayed there in the beginning of February 2020 there was some construction in the neighboring road going on during the week at daytime. But in fact, this is good news because they were implementing fast internet with fibre optic cable. So, you can expect super fast internet in the future (generally an area in which Germany is lagging behind terribly)! I stayed in a lovely room with a comfortable mattress, a cozy blanket and a flat pillow. Not to mention the view from the window!! Absolutely inspiring. I also liked the creaking wooden floor. The bathroom was just opposite the room in which I stayed and was well equipped with enough hooks to hang towels and a little stool to place the clothes. Just a little remark for those who bother: The shower head has no hanger, so you have to hold it whilst taking a shower. I found the house to be very clean and I liked the eclectic style in particular. Isabel and her dog are very friendly. All in all, I can highly recommend staying with Isabel!

The room was very clean and cozy. The location is next to a beautiful forest with many trails. There was street parking which is a rare find in the Heidelberg area. Sabine allowed my son to stay the first night and we enjoyed an evening dining and the walk to and from a lovely restaurant down the hill. The leaves were changing colors so it was a beautiful time of the year to be there.

Nora’s place is a spacious 2 bedroom plus a comfortable pull out bed in the living room, which has doors which can be closed off the main foyer. The kitchen had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. The place has a small balcony and a cute outdoor patio. Nora and her mother are friendly and helpful. There is a parking space out front. Grocery shopping is very convenient — just a quick walk a block away. We had a great stay!

The apartment is in a quiet suburb away from the busy centre of Heidelberg but it has excellent bus links from right outside the apartment to the tourist part so there was no problem getting to and from the old city. Near the apartment there is a bakery, a supermarket and a very good and friendly Italian restaurant. We didn't meet Nora but her mother Silvia was an excellent host meeting us at the nearby station when we arrived and making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment has large bedrooms, one with a balcony and the other a sitting out area. It is comfortable and we would certainly go back.

A great accommodation close to Heidelberg with great infrastructure and everything you need in the apartment. We were traveling with children, even had a parking lot in front of the door for a very large car and the hosts are very nice and took great care of us!

The accommodation and at the same time totally homely, lovingly small apartment with Kerstin is a perfectly adequate temporary home from front to back! You feel welcome and at home, have all the necessary utensils and live in the middle of a central area that is still quiet! Restaurants and bars can be found all around; the old town is a wonderful walk on foot and tourist information provides the perfect basis for exploring Heidelberg to Kerstin's tips. We felt comfortable for two and would come back anytime. Thanks for that.

Brigitte’s place was clean, quaint, and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay there. For its value, we would highly recommend this place if you are traveling by car and visiting Heidelberg, where accommodations can be quite pricey. Free wifi, coffee/tea, towels, and water bottles were provided!

It was a great vacation in this apartment, in which we as a family with small children were able to spread out and feel great. The hosts are very nice and helpful, have lots of great tips and are happy to help. The children were very happy about the existing toys and we adults were happy about the existing baby and children's equipment. The large wellness bathtub was a hit. When hiking, we had a great panoramic view after a short walk uphill and even in bad weather there were enough activities in the area or just cuddly in the apartment.

Super nice apartment! Everything is perfectly clean and nothing is missing. Since we had to go downtown every day, it was unfortunately further away from Heidelberg than expected. You are still in the center within half an hour. In Ziegelhausen you can get everything you need (supermarket, pizza bakery, bakery, hairdresser, etc.). We definitely recommend the apartment! Petra lives in the ground floor apartment and has warmly received us and gave us tips about the area. This holiday home is highly recommended.

Nice accommodation in an old villa in a prime residential area just outside Heidelberg. The house is unique and cozy, but very noisy. Sabine is a great and very friendly hostess with adorable dog. The night was good and I would definitely recommend it.

I was super happy with the accommodation. The location is just perfect and communication with Matt is excellent. I would book the accommodation again at any time (which I have already done). The only thing I noticed is that there were two small towels there. So they wouldn't have been enough to take a shower, but that's not so dramatic. Otherwise everything was really thought of.

Everything was a perfect place. It's a good place to stay in Heidelberg, so it's nice to be close to marts and McDonald's. The tram and bus were right in front of us and the transportation was the best. Heidel Castle was very close. The house was nice too. You could cook, the beds are big and the power supplies are well equipped. The bathroom just smells a bit better. It wasn't dirty, so it just smelled. Met was also very friendly.

Came for the Heidelberger Frühling, an amazing string quartet festival, we had a great weekend. Dorothéa's apartment is located in the heart of the old town of Mannheim, everything is very close! Very well appointed it lacks nothing. Small touches of attention with cakes, coffee are really very nice. To get there by train, very easy from Paris, it is better to Mannheim to take a ticket for Heidelberg Altstadt, the station is 10, from the accommodation.

The location will definitely satisfy Heidelberg travelers. In addition, hot water comes out of shower well. No insects were seen. In addition, the rooms are beautiful and relaxing. There is space to spread the suitcase, and there is no need to spread it on the bed.

My mother and I stayed with my little daughter in this great apartment. We especially enjoyed the garden, which had such great play equipment for the little lady: slide, swing, wooden horse, car, tricycle and even a kids' table. The purest children's paradise, which made the holiday especially enjoyable for us adults. Even in the apartment itself, nothing is missing. The bus connection to the city is great! If we ever come back to Heidelberg, we will gladly choose this apartment again.

Good location (10 minutes walk to the train station, 15+ minutes -I think- to the old part of the city), in a nice and quiet area, very nice houses around. Great host Manuel, educated and nice.

The place is located really close to the main station (15 minutes walking or less) and very close to the centre of the city (30 minutes walking). Manuel also when to the station to receive me. It is a five-floor apartment really clean and quite big. Also, the decoration is really beautiful. The room is very comfortable and it has everything you need. The apartment has a full equipment kitchen available to use. I stayed there for two months and it was really great. Manuel is very quiet and keeps the house really clean. Also, he helps me a lot with receiving my stuff when I receive some documentation and when I bought it something in amazon. It is a great place to be at Heidelberg no matter how long are you planning to stay.

The Manuel is a very reliable and uncomplicated host. I could use the whole apartment, it was very fast as in a shared flat. The room is very lovely and inviting. Manuel answered quickly, for questions he was always available by phone. He had offered to pick me up from the train station, although the apartment is only 10 minutes walk from the train station. I would highly recommend the accommodation, the value for money is right. The city center is good and quickly accessible by tram and bus (about 10 minutes). Heidelberg is a tourist city - in the Weststadt, where the apartment is located, you can experience a piece of original Heidelberg.

Great location within 30 minutes walk of altstadt with the added benefit of walking into town through the forest. Gabi knew when we were to arrive and actually pulled over at the train station as we walked by...she recognized us (!), took our bags, and directed us on our walk to her place, which was our choice after a long travel. Nice view of the river and landscapes from the north-facing deck.

Together with my daughter I spent a wonderful weekend in this small but nice apartment. Gabriele is a super nice, helpful hostess, the kitchen equipment is great, the terrace a dream! We were quick in Heidelberg and enjoyed the time very much. Highly Recommended!

Had a great stay at Annabelle and Torsten’s place while I was in Heidelberg for a conference. Their apartment is clean, very conveniently located to the city centre and well connected to public transport links. I arrived late in the evening but Annabelle and Torsten were very accommodating with my check in. Their two cats are also super cute and playful. Would 100% recommend staying here for a short trip to Heidelberg!

The location is hard to beat - the main station is even on foot, in the old town it is also not far, public transport in front of the door, large supermarket around the corner ... The room itself is large, bright and well equipped. Very nice hosts and sweet, unobtrusive cats ;-) Check-in and all arrangements were uncomplicated and clear. Answers always came quickly.
