Lisbon Nouveau - Apartment 1D
Lisbon Nouveau apartments are located in one of the city main arteries. The nearest subway station is located right in our door front (10 meters away). The south entrance was offered by Metro de Paris and it is called the Guimard entrance, named after the famous Art Nouveau artist, Hector Guimard, best known for the design of Paris Metropolitan Stations entrances. Inspired by the quest for modernity that moved the Art Nouveau artists, our apartments also aim to reflect the spirit of a new and trendy Lisbon, an old and traditional city with a new and vibrating life. In the neighbourhood you can find shopping malls, food courts and numerous restaurants. We are not far from downtown and Tagus River, and you can be there in a very short subway ride. At walking distance you have iconic places like Praça Marquês de Pombal, Parque Eduardo VII, or the Avenida da Liberdade where you can find the most famous world brands, like Prada, Armani or Louis Vuitton, among others. The apartments were conceived with the main purpose to host the travellers who love to feel the cosmopolitan vibes of the big cities. Modernly equipped, we believe that staying at Lisbon Nouveau will be part of an unforgettable visit to one Europe's most charming capitals. Being located in one of our main Avenues is a huge advantage for the traveller who seeks mobility and living in the very heart of the city. However, travellers who are more keen to quietness may consider the movement in the vicinity a little excessive. Nevertheless we believe that the quality we provide will largely overcome any inconvenience from the surroundings The Lisbon Nouveau 1D is a two bedroom apartment that accommodates four persons. The apartment was totally reconditioned and is fully equipped with all you need for a short or long stay. The bedroom offers a comfortable double bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other one. The bathrooms are modern and well equipped, and the kitchen is also very modern and functional. Wi-fi and air conditioned are available for your comfort. In the building we have seven more apartments very similar to this. They all are named Lisbon Nouveau apartments, so if by any reason the one you want is not available for your dates feel free to ask for alternatives.

All about Lisbon
Built on seven hills, Portugal’s coastal capital of Lisbon (Lisboa in Portuguese) is a city of juxtapositions. The winding streets lined with pastel-colored homes open up to impressive landmarks with unique styles, like 15th-century Manueline architecture — a transition between Gothic and Renaissance, with Moorish touches — as seen in Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Belém Tower. The upscale shopping street of Avenida de Liberdade is a stark contrast to the city’s oldest neighborhood of Alfama with artisan craft shops and cafes, and a change from the 19th-century mansions in the Principe Real. But they all mix together perfectly, especially when viewed from the city’s many miradouros, or viewing points.
What are the top things to do in Lisbon?
Praça do Comércio
Known to locals as Terreiro do Paço, this massive riverside square — one of Europe’s largest — is also one of the city’s most emblematic landmarks, where the palace stood before the 1755 earthquake. Head to the top of the Rua Augusta Arch for a view of the symmetrical surrounding streets.
Bairro Alto & Chiado Neighborhoods
Literally meaning “upper district,” the Bairro Alto is Lisbon’s city center, with a mix of traditional and eclectic shops and an energetic nightlife, ranging from old sailors’ bars to hip clubs. Neighboring Chiado is a tad more upscale, with modern retailers springing up in renovated historic spaces — and it’s also one of the best areas to see Portuguese fado music performances.
Belém
About three miles west of the city center is this suburb, home to the Belém Tower, the National Palace of Belém (time your visit to see the ceremonial changing of the guards on the third Sunday of every month), and one of the city’s best places to get a Portuguese egg tart, called pasteis de nata.
