A semi-detached country house, located in a beautiful valley in the Algarve mountains, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Figueira" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Medronheiro," and this, in turn, with "Casa Videira." (see photo in gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

The two wooden houses, are set in a tranquil cork and eucalyptus environment. You´ll be rewarded by green grounds. The air is beautifully scented by the trees. As soon as you arrive, “the final 600 meters are on an unpaved road, typical for the Algarve countryside,easily accessible with a regular car and part of the boho, slow-living experience” you can go for a swim in the azure pool or read a book on your terrace. As serene as you could hope to find, yet an easy drive from wonderfull beaches.

Enjoy surf/yoga/hiking/birdwatching/beach-life on a modern standard, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the „Costa Vicentina national park“ and with beautiful view on Ingrina Beach (in about 1 km distance) The villa has been completely renovated and provides a high standard with modern kitchen, scandinavian-style living and two large bedrooms (double bed / 2 x single bed) on about 90 sqm. The recently rebuilt house is situated on a quiet dead-end street on the main road, where most of the shops, restaurants and cafés of the village can be found. The family beach Mareta is a 5-minute walk away and the surfing beach Tonel at 10 minutes. The house is modern and spacious with lots of light and has a living and dining area on the ground floor, a toilet with shower and an open kitchen with all necessary equipment and bar. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Casa "Torta"

"A Casinha Torta" is located in the oldest part of the village of Raposeira. The walls that survived the 1755 earthquake were preserved and renovated with soul and dedication in a rustic style. During the renovation we found a doorbell from the 12th-14th century, which makes the history of this little house even more interesting. The beaches of both the south and west coasts are 5 km away. There is the possibility to accommodate 2 more people 5 meters from your house.

We are located in the middle of the valley of Pedralva, peaceful and quiet, far away from mainstream tourism and yet the famous surfing beaches of Amado and Bordeira are 5 minutes away by car. Surrounded by nature, hammocks in our cork oak forest invite you to relax and our own lake invites you to swim. Two restaurants and a bar are a 5-minute walk away. Nearby small fishing villages such as Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo, Aljezur or Lagos are worth a visit.
