Rest for body and soul *This charming cottage was a perfect retreat for us as three family members staying together. We loved it as our home for two weeks. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the terrace when it was dry enough, and most dinners on the terrace, as well. The seating spaces, foliage, and yellow roses in bloom are all wonderful. *We had daily rain, yet found the indoors delightful as well. The cottage was spacious enough for all three of us to have our own uncrowded space during the days we stayed indoors, even with one person working full time. *We also enjoyed quiet evening walks on the country roads near the cottage, passing vineyards and admiring sunsets. *As a charming cottage, there are a few quirks, but these would in no way discourage us from coming back! (For example, the only way to access the two bathrooms involves passing through one of the two bedrooms.) *Highly recommended as a restful place to stay, where everything is attractive, clean, in order, and delightful.

We felt right at home at Marie-Ange’s place. She was very kind and accommodating. Marie-Ange spoke better English than we spoke French, and it worked. We promise that next time we will be speaking conversational French. It was a perfect place for us to visit nearby Bordeaux and Bergerac, and we will be retuning. It was also an easy walk into town and evening walks by the beautiful Dordogne River. We highly recommend staying at Marie-Ange’s place! Merci beaucoup, Marie-Ange!
