Excellent stay! Would highly recommend. It was perfect for us because it is pulled away from the hustle and bustle, and super peaceful. But at the same time, it’s just a 10 minute walk across the bridge over the river and through the old city wall’s gate into the colonial zone. It was clean and cute, lots of natural light, with a great view of the river and across to the colonial zone. The furniture and amenities were great, free laundry facilities were sparkling clean, and plenty of new washers and dryers. At the ground floor there is a great convenience store, and a string of small restaurants that all seem to be linked to each other as one business with several options. And they stay open late in case you forgot to pick anything up on your way home from a long day exploring. In candor, when we returned at night each day, we’d have to deal with about 3 small cockroaches, but this is nothing compared to what’s normal in this part of the world. Do not let this deter you if possible!

Great spot right in the center of santo Domingo. With a lot of great restaurants and nightlife around the area.
