Susukino Tanukikoji Shopping Street is also within walking distance, making it a great location for sightseeing and gourmet food. Nakajima Park is also recommended for jogging. (There is a Japanese garden, a pond where you can play with boats, and the Kitara concert hall) If you like sake, you can also visit the Chichijo Museum of Sake Brewing while you're at Nijo Market. Very close to the subway station, Nakajima Park is a good place to take a walk. There is also a natural hot spring nearby.
