In addition, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea are within easy reach. Whether Hansa Park, Heide Park or Legoland in Billund, they are always worth a trip from here. Our house has 4 bedrooms and an extra sofa bed. It can accommodate 6 - 8 people. Wi-Fi + Netflix provided. Terrace + outdoor fireplace.

In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

The thatched cottage, built in the middle of the 19th century, it was owned by the Duke of Oldenburg until 25 years ago and is located on the edge of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park on an idyllic property, surrounded by forest and a meadow. Neighbors are neither heard nor seen. The eastern boundary of the garden is bordered by a babbling brook. A play paradise for children.

Our house can accommodate up to 8 people and is located 3 minutes by car from Lehnsahn and 15 minutes from Grömitz. It has a large garden overlooking the horse paddocks and is absolutely quiet. In the middle of Holstein Switzerland, close to the most beautiful beaches, surrounded by equestrian farms, lakes, forests and fields, lies our country house Frida. Linens can be booked. In the garden under the apple trees, you can relax or sit comfortably together, barbecue available! A sandbox or ping pong table is available for the kids. In summer, we recommend a canoe trip on the nearby Ratzeburg Lake or a shopping trip to Lübeck! Wedding celebrations are possible on the farm! The house has a full basement.

We built the house anew in 2025 and furnished it with a lot of love for detail and are now looking forward to guests who appreciate this place exactly as we do.
