Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sooke

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Michelle’s place was great for our family of 7 and 3 dogs! All the space you need to relax and enjoy Sooke! Very comfortable and convenient location

We had originally booked this home for May 2024 but we had to cancel last minute because of a passport mess-up. Josie was kind enough to credit us the stay and let us reschedule. Once we arrived, our jaws dropped. The photos don’t do justice how stunning this space is. I leapt around the first 24 hours because I was so thrilled to be there with my friends, celebrating life. The beds are a dream, the forest is enchanting and we could not get enough of the outdoor shower/sauna experience. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

What a slice of heaven! It was even better than the pictures! We thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights here (wishing it was longer) with our 18&21 year olds. There was plenty of space for us to gather as a fam or find a chill out spot alone. Allison and Sean were great with communication and giving advice for good hiking trails too! We would love to one day return!

Gorgeous house in a private location! We enjoyed our stay immensely and would come again. Even with a power outage, the generator kept us perfectly comfortable and happy. Everything was very clean and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Our Family stayed In Deborah’s beautiful home for the weekend. It was a great place to reconnect and hang out. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We hope that we will be able to come and stay again.

Stunning place, surrounded by nature in an amazing well maintained backyard and place. We had an extremely relaxing and fun time there! We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The place was ready when we arrived, access was very easy. The space was clean and equipped with all the essentials. Ryan was easy to communicate with, got us what we needed from coffee to tea towels! He also had some great local recommendations. Beautiful weather and accomodations made it feel like a luxury glamping experience!

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Stayed for few weeks and it was great. I love colwood waterfront which is why I chose this place. The place was comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts was responsive and welcoming.

It was a pleasure to stay in such an amazing and beautiful place. The property is literally right on the beach, offering an incredible view of the lake and surrounded by forest. There are plenty of activities available: brand-new kayaks, swimming in the lake, hiking, basketball, tennis, and more. Shops are within walking distance. Everything was perfect, especially the friendly, home-like hosting. The property has everything you could need — and even more! We will definitely come back in the summer!! Excellent place!

My partner and I chose this peaceful, beautiful Airbnb as the spot for our private elopement, and it was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the walk down to the beach and along the shore multiple times a day. The space was cozy, serene, and spotless, and Aletta was so kind and thoughtful. She even agreed to be our witness for ceremony! An unforgettable stay in every way. Highly recommend!!

This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. I needed a break from the big city for a few days. Having been to Jordan River camping before, I was familiar with the region, but was looking for something that didn’t involve tents. The Fern Gully cabins are breathtaking. Cozy, warm, inviting. The bed in the loft is cozy, and I almost didn’t want to get up each morning. The beaches in the area are all a short drive away. The only drawback is there is no hot water in the kitchen sink, so you have to boil water in order to do the dishes. That and the water pressure of the outdoor shower isn’t very strong. But these are all small things in my opinion and I would definitely recommend this place!

My family and I had a very lovely, relaxing stay at Jessica’s cabin. It has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. One thing we wish we packed were eye masks as the sun woke us up due to no window coverings!

Fantastic, affordable little cabin on the West Island perfectly situated a reasonable drive from all the best hikes the area has to offer. The cabin was clean, has most of what we needed, and was a lovely place to wind down in the evening. We were surprised to find there was an indoor shower as well as the outdoor shower mentioned in the listing. We loved the outdoor shower after a morning run.

Beautiful, warm and cozy Lake House. Spotlessly clean and absolutely pristine! The sunsets were divine. Peace, tranquility and great energy! Fantabulous host ;-)
