Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South-East Melbourne

Ralph & Robyn are the most gracious host's, I stayed in their cabin situated at the bottom of their beautiful cottage garden. It has everything you need for a short stay, they even include provisions for a yummy cooked breakfast & more. All amenities are extremely clean & well thought out. It's the little touches like the chocolates on the bed side tables & a bottle of port waiting for you when you arrive that I really love. This is my 2nd stay at Potters Garden and I will definitely return the next time I make plans to to visit the Hot Springs again, as it's only minutes away which is very convenient. Beautiful, picturesque, peaceful and comfortable 😊 we were looking for something quiet and private, Michael deliverers a tranquil space with beautiful gardens presented with sculpture's and mosaic's, we had warm weather so the pool and tennis court was a lovely bonus, the local pub was two minutes away and had scrumptious food and lovely service from Falicity, thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful space, we will be back 😊

Loved it here, will stay again next time I'm heading down to these parts. I had a 2 hour drive from Melbourne airport in a rental car, landed at 11pm. delays pushed my arrival to this Airbnb till 2am. I let Glorija know, she said it was no problem, she met me in person and was super friendly. Wish I could have chatted some more. The place was lovely, easy to park the car, right outside the back door. The town is lovely. I'm picky about showers and beds, and this was definitely top tier.

We found Christine & Barry to be very responsive and accommodating with our needs. The Canvas Barn and the Tiny House (Bedford) were perfect for our group of 3 families with kids aged between 6 and 12. Even though there was no TV and limited wifi range, there was plenty to do on the property. The kids were kept occupied with the old cash register, tree house and game boards supplied while the adults enjoyed each others’ company while having a bbq in the communal outdoor dining space. We were fortunate with beautiful weather during our stay and when it got a little chilly at night, the wood fireplace kept us warm. If you’re looking for something different and unique, and up for a nature retreat or device/screen detox for the family, this place is it!

We both had the most wonderful time staying at Mel’s, we honestly can’t thank her enough for her kindness, generosity, warm energy and recommendations. Mel went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, we felt cared for and right at home. She made the most beautiful, delicious breakfasts every morning and honestly the food was way better than anything we’ve had at a cafe. My partner is still talking about them… he often mentioned that it was one of his favourite parts of the day and he’d like to book in again just so he could have a lovely home cooked meal from Mel lol. Her place is beautiful, so clean and full of thoughtful extra touches that made us feel very special. We both enjoyed the moments we got to sit out in the cabana during the warm nights having a glass of wine. Thank you so much Mel, we both appreciated how much you did for us. Than you again!!

We took our adult kids and dog down the freeway to Derek and Marita’s B&B on a hot weekend and found a beautiful, private getaway to spend some family time. Because of the heat the lovely pool was a highlight but there was also plenty to entertain us in the rumpus room and tennis/basketball court :) The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented and made the stay even more relaxing and special! Our dog had his own spaces and thoroughly enjoyed pretending to be a country dog for the weekend!

Kumari and Paul were outstanding hosts! Kumari met us outside since we arrived there so late. Then she showed us our room and our bathroom. She also welcomed us to have access to the kitchen, living room, dining room and even the washer. And very nice to have her carport for parking. Finally, she offered her big screen for us to watch the Super Bowl. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Hosts Barry and his wife were very welcoming! Also, the room was gorgeous and clean and we loved having an attached bathroom that was spacious and nice. Only slight issue is that the water system might be a little hard to get at first as there are specific instructions on how to turn on/off the water as well as adjust temperature. There was also a mini fridge and kettle in the room which was great. Location was a 15 min walk to Toorak village where we would definitely recommend trying the spaghetti marinara at Romeo’s (or anything else honestly, the food there is great and portions are huge). However do note that although accessible by public transport to the CBD, the nearest bus stop is still a ~5min walk away so driving is best. Overall a really good experience and we will be back if we return to Melbourne!

Relaxed location with a host that is friendly and well informed. Highly recommend the location if you want to relax and rejuvenate. Met all our needs for an overnight stay with good food recommendations. Check in and out very smooth and welcoming. We will be back

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Shaw’s. The atmosphere and décor are stunning, creating a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a place I highly recommend, and I can’t wait to return.

Kerry is a great host! Her place is so good, very neat and clean,easily accessible by public transport. She is so helpful, she provides Myki cards to her guests. I felt like my home in her house right from cooking food to laundry etc. Would love to visit her again. thanks Kerry for hosting us!

We had a wedding in the area and this was the perfect place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maples in Olinda. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully furnished. Attention to detail was apparent . Located in a lovely area ; within walking distance to shops and an amazing restaurant. A friendly and helpful hostess. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I stayed one night at 'The Maples' and I wish we stayed longer. The Loft apartment was such a great location and felt like home, it was clean, beautiful and full of all the amenities we needed and the communication from the host was quick and easy. We will be coming back to stay - longer this time. There is so much to do in Olinda, you need more than one day. Thank you
