We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage had a peaceful, garden-like charm that made it feel like a true retreat. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful—everything we could possibly need was provided, and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. It was cozy, comfortable, and felt instantly welcoming. One of our favorite features was the wood stove. It added so much warmth (literally and emotionally!) and made the evenings feel extra special. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a calm and cozy getaway.

Amy was an absolutely fantastic host! She was excellent at responding quickly to questions before arrival and checked in during the stay to make sure everything was working well. The apartment was super clean and really well cared for. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little bungalow! The home looked exactly like the photos—no surprises, just as advertised. While some reviews mentioned concerns about the area, we felt completely safe during our stay. It’s an older neighborhood, but that just adds to its character. We were in Martinsville for our son's baseball game, and this place was the perfect home base. Lauren was a fantastic host—very responsive and thoughtful, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Thank you, Lauren, for your hospitality!

Great place to stay! Very comfortable and close proximity to the smith river makes this a great location for an outdoors getaway.
