A great place to stay as a base for a snowmobile trip, why not for any other use. Not a luxury home, but there's everything you need and the price/quality ratio is very good! I'll definitely be back.

The stay was a great fit for our purposes. An air source heat pump and underfloor heating made it easy to heat. In the kitchen, we prepared what we had planned. The host provided sheets and towels. The cleaning supplies were a little primitive, but we were able to clean it up. It was easy to get to the ski track. Peaceful surroundings.

Very comfortable and neatly sized place to stay for two. It heats up a lot when you can warm it up. A lot like that doesn't warm up in an instant, so it's a good idea to book 3-5 hours to warm up in the spring, and 5-10 hives. A big recommendation for this place!

Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Very relaxed days at Tanja’s place! We could disconect and enjoy the beauty of the finish forest and lakes. Is the most quite and peaceful place i’ve ever been.

This place is truly extraordinary. The lake view can be admired from anywhere in the house, including the sauna. Everything was perfect—Lassi welcomed us and gave us a brief introduction to what the accommodation offers, and then we enjoyed a hot sauna with an amazing view. As a bonus, Lassi stocked the fridge with local beer, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In conclusion, this place is worth staying at, whether you're just passing through for a night or looking for a peaceful, longer vacation by the lake.

An absolutely brilliant stay in beautiful Finnish countryside - about an hour from Oulanka and Hosea National Parks, each easily worth a day, the Ruka ski/bike resort, Ruuta’s Winter War museum, and much more. Our family was delighted to stay here - the house offers boating and paddle boarding and multiple saunas. We spent five nights and would have happily spent ten - we definitely hope to return!!

Spacious, cozy, well-equipped place by the lake. Another cabin pretty close and not too much of a sight in between. Overall a positive experience!

Beautiful and cozy house in the middle of nature! After a warm welcome by Harri and Tuula we had a great time in snowy Finland. We had everything we needed for a week to calm down and relax. Big recommendation!
