Fantastic location and a beautiful house. Carole’s instructions were excellent and apart from the parking being quite a squeeze, the rest of the property was wonderful. We enjoyed lovely walks around the house, fish and chips on the beach and a lovely drink in The Cove pub. We took a boat from Portland Marina to Weymouth on one of our trips and this was well worth it. So much to do nearby and the house itself was a lovely home from home. We highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The house is in a good location for the new forest and had everything we needed. The annex was also well stocked and it was nice having the extra space. William was also very responsive and helpful. We'd recommend this place for a large group going to the new forest!

very cosy, fully equipped kitchen, lovely location. spent a fantastic Christmas with all the family. would definitely come back! Melinda was very responsive to our questions and helped with heating issues as the house was cold when we arrived. it would have nice to ha e the house pre warmed ready for arrivals. House was decorated for Christmas and had some gifts left for us too which was a lovely gesture thanks for a lovely stay and great memories

Lovely home with beautiful furnishings and attention to detail Lovely garden which although sides and backs onto other gardens was a lovely space to sit and catch up in the afternoon Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean Only point would be that it is advertised as accommodating 8 people but the lounge would be a squeeze for 6. We had to use outside chairs for the 8 of us to watch a movie and use this room which wasn’t ideal or comfortable.There is space for a larger sofa and chairs so 8 could be accommodated easily so that would be my suggestion There is a downstairs shower room an en-suite shower room upstairs to one bedroom. Then a bath with no shower for the other 2 bedrooms upstairs to share. Would be great to have had an over bath shower in here but not a major big deal as only there for 2 nights. The host was responsive to questions and allowed us to have an earlier check in. Walking distance to Avon beach which we enjoyed too. Would recommend

The house was perfect for a chilled get away with friends-we sat in the garden until 8pm as it was so lovely out there. 25 min walk to the beach & a short drive from seeing the fantastic horses roaming free. Well worth the money and felt very homely

This was a great house for our university reunion. All bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and fresh cotton bedding. The location was so convenient for the shops, restaurants and a lovely walk down the chine to the beach.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay. We were a family group of 14. Aged from 2yrs -90yrs, and the accommodation suited everyone. The description and photos of property were exactly as stated. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The hot tub was amazing and hot! Plenty of games and equipment in the garden for the children. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery glasses, pots pans and utensils. Coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, washing capsules, dish washer tablets, bin bags were all provided. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms clean. We did visit the beach about 10-15min away but we didn’t really need to leave the property. The host was friendly and responded to requests. We will def be back!!

We were in Dorset for a large extended family get-together in a nearby village. Our own family group consisted of 6 adults and 3 children between 4 and 7 yrs old. The house is very light, bright and spacious and everyone could find space to escape the others when required! The kitchen was very well equipped. We had beautiful weather and were able to choose from several outdoor sitting areas - you can follow the sun around. There was plenty of room for parking. The children loved playing out in the extensive garden. The area generally is beautiful - very quiet at night. If you are looking for somewhere for a relaxing family holiday, I would recommend.

This house is stunning inside and out! There is so much character and it feels like a very loved home. It was a perfect base for an inter generational family get together. The views from the kitchen and balcony were out of this world, it was a joy to wake up to. Jenny was so helpful and super quick to respond when I had a question. Thank you so much!

Had a fabulous stay at Sheena’s. Communication was great, easy to find and get in. Cottage was lovely and clean with lots of space for us all + dog. Perfect location with a walk through the forest just opposite. Burley is a lovely area with lots of places to visit within easy reach. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the New Forest

This was everything we could have wished for, for a family holiday. Fantastic amenities, including a downstairs bedroom for my wife, who has mobility issues, with a great en suit. The other bedrooms were fantastic as well, all with the best mattresses, pillows and bedding we've ever had at any airbnb. The location was quiet and perfect for trips to the New Forest and beaches near by. We had a great time and will definitely book again.

This is the perfect house for a family trip - the garden is large and beautiful, and is right next door to a fab little playground. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The games room is perfect for kids with loads of books and toys. The kitchen is very well equipped and the surroundings of the house are stunning. Katy also just happens to be the best host I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb - so helpful, kind, accommodating and communicative. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Great stay in a beautifully restored old building with big comfy beds. 5 minutes walk from the beach and a pub serving delicious food (worth booking ahead). Very friendly volunteers at the nearby DD centre/war museum, well worth a visit to see the history of the Isle of Portland and fun for the children, they get to climb inside a tank!

Lovely house beautiful location specially for country walks the pub over the road was very nice. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and the cold plunge pool. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was stunning and perfect for our family getaway with a lovely communal open plan space but also private space in the bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers which was a huge bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were greeted on arrival by the host. We all had a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay. The property was a wonderful home from home in a beautiful setting. It was perfect for all of our family as we celebrated a special birthday. Mant thanks Katie for all of your prompt and helpful communications.

We were a group of six adults and two young children and two dogs. We stayed in Rose Cottage and Piilopirtti. The cottages were charming, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. They are easily accessed, just off the A31. Rose cottage has a lovely fenced garden and our dogs were made very welcome. Worth mentioning that, as advertised, the bedroom ceilings are low and the stairs are very steep, and there are upstairs windows that children can easily open. Piilopirtti has its own outdoor space and a stunning turf roof with bluebells flowering when we were there. The two cottages are about two minutes apart. What we loved most at Ringwood were the beautiful hot tubs, the direct access to the woods that offer plenty of child-oriented activities, and the caring welcome. Thank you Sibylle and Mark.

Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful Xmas decor. Photos do not do it justice. Very well equipped. Very thoughtful host we had everything we needed abd more. Pool towels. Great games room. Amazingly equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers. Ninja air fryer. Plenty of fridges for food / drinks. Loved the separate drinks kitchen. The pool and sauna were lovely. The living room with the fire place was so so cosy. Would love to return again. We had taken so many things which were already provided.

Rhians place is absolutely amazing! Set on a beautiful and peaceful estate, we had plenty to do and explore. The house was spotlessly clean, modern and had everything we needed. Rhian was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.

We had such a lovey long weekend at the farm house. The hosts were quick to respond to messages and check in was easy. The house is just like the photos, however they don’t do the garden justice! The house was equipped with all that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The garden is beautiful and the pool was amazing - heated to a comfortable 29• and in beautiful surroundings. My only suggestion would be a sign stating how deep the water is, however that did not distract from our enjoyment at all! We loved the table tennis table and brought our own garden games to play outside. We’d thoroughly recommend the house to families wanting an escape to the countryside.

8 of us (and a toddler) has a wonderful, comfortable stay. The facilities are amazing with loads of different fun, family friendly things to do.

A really comfortable relaxing place to stay with all the family.Such a perfect spot for visiting lots of key spots plus a beautiful walking area. Lot’s of great pubs and restaurants too. Seeing the wild deer and ponies was such a joy.
