The accommodation is located in the far end of Donsö harbor with boats, boathouses and sea as a neighbor. You find here by taking the right when you get off the ferry, then it is a walk of about 300m along the harbor until you reach the Rökeriet where the entrance is on the south side. Within the harbour area there is a gas station, hotel, restaurant, cafes, pizzeria, fish smokehouse, harbour office, ice cream kiosk, second hand shop, shipowner's office, hardware store, carpentry, marinas, fish shop, grocery store, garden store etc.

In the house there are common areas with lounge (board games, billiards, fireplace) and a common sauna. During the high season, the restaurant is open Thurs-Sat and serves a tasting menu.
