Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

Francesco gave us a friendly welcome late in the evening. The place was very spacious and clean. The terraces have made it possible to enjoy the sun in the morning. Unfortunately, there was no bar within walking distance in March, but Ortigia or Avola can be reached very quickly by car, so that the physical well-being is taken care of. Very suitable as a starting point for excursions. The place is highly recommended. Many thanks to Francesco for the beautiful apartment.

Enza is such a lovely person just to cuddle with. A friendship has developed from this and I will definitely return. ❤️ 5 stars are not enough here. Upon arrival, she picked me up and the welcome was already warm. We drank so many coffee and also took a trip together. I also felt very safe, very well taken care of and slept like a baby. The mattress is very good. Ortigia is definitely worth a trip and the accommodation is mega central ( everything within walking distance). Mille, mille grazie Enza. It was sooooo nice with you. I had an amazing stay at Alfredo's place in Syracuse, Sicily. Alfredo was an outstanding host, always incredibly helpful and quick to recommend the best local experiences. He suggested a wonderful wine tasting that was a highlight of our trip and guided us to beautiful nearby destinations like Noto and Ortigia. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the area. I highly recommend staying here for an authentic and enjoyable Sicilian experience! Thank you Alfredo!

Luckily we chose to stay at the Dimora Santa Lucia, in Syracuse (although we arrived in Catania), where we had a very, very good time. Giuseppe was very nice and welcoming and gave us great advice and allowed us to check in earlier and checkout after. Giuseppe left everything ready for breakfast, for all four of us, at the apartment, for all the days of our stay (and a bottle of a beautiful Sicilian red, which I liked). She also had the nice gesture of leaving milk and water in the fridge! The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, for example: we used the washing machine, before our return home, we took a nice bike ride, and also used the beach chairs, at the Lido di Noto and Marzamemi. For us, Syracuse was a much more convenient location to visit Noto and Modica (and the beaches I mentioned above) than Catania. We highly recommend this home!

Great apartment, tastefully furnished and extremely careful in cleanliness, equipped with all services and comforts. Located a stone's throw from the sea and a few minutes away from a pleasant walk to reach the center and all its places of interest. Andrea is a perfect host, always responsive both before and throughout our stay, made even more enjoyable by his valuable advice.

Mario's neighborhood was clean and tidy, the decor matched the description and photos. There is everything you need for a cozy stay as well as for preparing your own meals. The reception by Mario was friendly and uncomplicated, he explained everything relevant to us in detail and answered our questions. In the living area, there were various business cards of restaurants and attractions in the area. There is a large and well-kept terrace where you can relax in the sunshine. In Solarino you will find various shops and facilities for everyday needs. If you buy something that cannot be taken to the plane and must be sent home by package, I strongly recommend using the branch "Servizi Postali Di Gibilisco Michele" in the "Via Martiri delle Ardeatine, 19A". We will be back to Mario. Thank you for everything.

A great place in a very good location. Host was responsive and quick to answer questions. The flat itself was spacious and clean with a good set of facilities available. A great place to stay as it's close to many shops and markets nearby.

We had a wonderful time at this place. It is very calm and relaxing. Both the inside and outside of the house is very nice. We already miss having our morning coffee on the terrace. By car it is very easy to explore the surroundings or find a nice beach. Manfredi and Alessandra were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I spent a week in Paolo’s wonderful place so close to everything. I have seen people say something about it being called seafront house. This is accurate because Lungomare in Italian literally means seafront even though the property is about 20 meters from the sea you will not be disappointed I promise it is so clean so quiet and so so comfortable you really could not ask for more and if you did, Paolo is always available to help Thank you Paolo you are my favourite Host so far.

We had a great time here and the host was super helpful. We really liked the area, it’s an easy walk to Otigia and the archaeological park is right around the corner. Parking was no problem. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and it was super clean.

My family just spent a week at Villa Carmen (6 Adults and 1 dog) and really enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of space with an amazing outdoor area with a lovely pool. The location is perfect as it’s close to Ortigia and the coast where you’ll find some lovely restaurants. (You will need a car) The host Giuseppe was really friendly and is super responsive. He gave us some fantastic recommendations and was happy to accommodate anything we requested. Certainly recommended.

it was a beautiful stay. close to the sea and nicely located. Everything was perfect! Valentina was quick to respond to the questions we had, in short perfect. if we are in the area again we will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has amazing terrace with the view on the sea and a swimming pool. The place is better for people who have a car but even without it we had a good time: there is a store and a bar in walking distance, also there is bus to Syracuse. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend to book a boat trip that host provides. We enjoyed it very much.

Great location to explore noto by foot. We stayed at the apartment with our 2 year old. Luca prepared a lovely bed for her. Be aware this apartment is on the 1st and 2nd floor but there was room for the stroller ground floor.

Spacious 2 floor apartment in a great location, everywhere is walkable and it is lovely to be on the balcony looking out across the square. The apartment was very well equipped and the bedroom is huge with a comfy bed. Bathroom is small but has everything you need. The people managing the apartment also helped me to book a fab boat trip and were very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a fab stay.

Will come again any time! From the first written contact, to check-in to departure, everything worked out wonderfully. Here are professionals at work who communicate personally and very warmly! The apartment is really nice. Big enough for a couple and the terraces allow you to either relax in peace or take part in the beach life with a view of the street in Lido di Noto. We loved looking at the street downstairs in front of the house and the sea behind with an espresso in hand. You won't lack anything inside. The outdoor area is great and all the many beaches in the vicinity with all the crystal clear water are just amazing. For us a great overall package that will let us come back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at Davide’s place . The apartment is situated in a beautiful garden , with no sound except the cicadas . Nice restaurants nearby and fish market selling fish straight from the boat , which we bought several times - very fresh . We especially liked the Fornace restaurant , right by the sea with smoking Mount Etna on view in the distance . Loved Ortigia too . So atmospheric, even before we stumbled upon a rehearsal for Dolce and Gabbana’s fashion show one morning !!Loads of great cities for sightseeing nearby and we discovered several beautiful beaches in the nature reserve . Davide was very helpful and thoughtful and we enjoyed our stay very much . Thank you

super cute apartment. Very clean and tidy. We stayed there for 10 days with a small child. The elevator is very pleasant. In addition, the area is an absolute plus. Very close to beach. In addition, there is a playground across the street and this one is just fantastic for Italian ratios... large, shaded by trees and with high quality playgrounds. The families from Avola meet there and one can get in touch.

We loved staying at Giovanna’s lovely apartment. It’s right above Ortigia’s incredible food market, where all the food is delicious - whether cooking amazing produce yourself or indulging in the tonnes of great restaurants. Everything about our trip was easy. We’d very gladly come again.

Our stay at casa Celeste was terrific. Damiano and Adda’s apartment is perfect with all the comforts of home. And that’s exactly how it felt - like staying in someone’s home. Damiano was a great host and super responsive. The apartment was about a 20 minute walk to the historic centre but we actually enjoyed the all especially after lovely dinners out. Great spot for exploring the area - 20 drive to Marzamemi and 35 min to Siracusa. We also explored the beaches and our favourite was the Lido di Noto. We headed to e end of the beach where there’s tons of parking and it was very clean. Hope to be back again soon.
