Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment is 36 square meters and is located in a well-kept 12-party house in a central location (about 300 m from the center). We took over this in 2018 and refurbished it (kitchen, completely new furniture and good sofa bed). It is a living room with kitchenette and dining area, a separate bedroom and a small bathroom. Since we (4 adults + 1 schoolchild) regularly use our apartment ourselves, it is quite well equipped (sufficient dishes, coffee maker, TV). No Wi-Fi!

In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. Minimalist design between Scandi Chic and built-in forest. Hiking in the Harz Mountains or relaxing on the sofa - our accommodation fulfills all vacation wishes.

The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub and invites you to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. A highlight is the balcony. You look at the chestnut avenue that gave the apartment its name.
